The Patriots were in violation of the procedural rule regarding the placement of a teams advanced scouting video equipment. Because it was not in the coaches box, Roger decided that the Patriots were in violation of this procedure and fined the Pats and docked them a draft pick, specifically because he had sent out a memo about this practice before the season started.
Stealing other teams signs is not cheating. The Dolphins stole the Pats last year, and the league said, "That's football."
Goddell himself said that, "No advantage," was gained. No advantage means, no cheating.
Let me say again, so that it will sink in. The problem with what the Patriots did was in where it was done, not what was recorded. I know that this is difficult for you to swallow, because you twits desperately need a win to take away from the fact that your team completely sucks.

WE know this is due to envy, jealousy and hatred of the Best Football Team on the Planet. I really think opposing fans want to see the Patriots fall and are a tad frustrated knowing we will remain a dominant force for the foreseeable future. We will continue to beat their teams senseless and they are somewhat angry.

They want to see more investivagations...and they will not happen
They want to see harsher punishments...and they won't
They want to believe Brady is over-rated...and he'll set records this year
God KNOWS they don't want the Pats to win another Super Bowl

It's the NY Post. My wife and I love it for what it is - trash. Sometimes we want to read trash and pick it up.

I thought it was pretty clever when they first did it. No one takes them seriously so why should they? It would degrade their credibility if they had any, but they don't. So what's the harm?

If they keep it up for the whole year it will be pretty pathetic. Obsession isn't healthy.

BTW, is the 3-0 after week 4 what they actually show? If so, did they give the Jets an extra win? If they actually don't have NE at 4-0 after week 4 then that changes things a little. Their job is to report, not to rewrite reality as they see it. The NFL lists their record as 4-0 and that is what needs to be reported.

There's a different between a newspaper with a sense of humor and a newspaper which purposefully misreports the news.
