Abdul Carter vs LT at 4?

Absolutely agree. Draft analyst make it more difficult than it needs to be.. we have the QB, the coaching. We revamped the defense. Without solid OT play we can't execute on offense unless Drake is running for his life each snap. Sometimes the draft gods give you what you need over what you want!
No one will complain if they take Hunter or Carter at #4, just need Sanders and Ward to go top 3.

If ward and sanders go 1-2 are the giants taking hunter or carter?

I think Wolf is playing a pre-draft game of speaking in tongues. Of course the NEP are going to draft based on need.

If Hunter is there, they will take him because they need a WR. If Carter is there they will take him because Landry is a stop-gap and Carter is an incredible talent. If Campbell is there they will take him because they need a LT or LG. In these situations, those are top players worthy of the slot the NEP are selecting in.

Now...where teams get in trouble is reaching in the draft for a position in need and getting a player that doesn't warrant the draft slot. They also get in trouble for trading down and not finding a way to acquire elite talent.

At the end of the day teams need to ensure they acquire talent commensurate with the draft position. Full stop.

Seems simple but it isn't.
accurate. It's pretty obvious most GMs know we need a OT and WR.. the FA approach the teams making is calculated and not acting out of desperation. Personally I think Hunter and Carter will be gone by the time we are on the clock.

Yea I really don't know who is going where...

1. I think TN needs to draft Cam Ward badly but and argument can be made thats too high for him so they take Carter
2. CLE needs a QB. Full stop. Maybe Ward makes sense here. Still seems high. They already have Garrett and a couple of younger guys a DE
3. Giants are also desperate for a young QB. They still have egg on their face from Hard Knocks. Nabors needs a real QB. Sanders? High for him?
4. Here is where Hunter goes....

Absolutely. I'd love it if he was there at 4.. it's just so much uncertainty as to if he will be.

Since you put it that way it does appear optimistic. I'm wondering though does Tenn decide that mayonnaise man Levis needs a WR to see if he can be a franchise??

Yes.

As of March 25, the top of the draft seems to universally be Carter, Hunter, Ward, Sanders, in some order. If Carter, Ward and Hunter are gone when the Pats pick, then it gets interesting.

If Hunter is gone when the Patriots pick at 4 then there is a dilemma. If Carter is there, you can definitely get some good trade-down values; so trade down and stock up. In the worst cast scenario, both Hunter and Carter are gone. 4 is too high to draft Campbell and what team would really want to trade up into 4 with Hunter and Carter gone; the ultra blue chips would be gone...so the Patriots would be stuck with Campbell at 4.

Giants take Hunter in that scenario. IMO he’d immediately be their top CB, and if he moonlights as a WR he’d be their second most dangerous option there as well. I think for the Pats to have any hope of Hunter, Ward and Carter need to go top 2 in some order and the Giants have to really want Sanders enough to pass on Hunter.

His thing with mayo is friggan gross.

Levis has potential. Maybe they take Hunter at #1. That would suck.

See I think Hunter would be better utilized at WR and can play some packages on defense.. as he's an fantastic athlete. If he got with the right organization us.. I'm hoping that he could really Hone in on WR and play on defense in some packages.. sort of like we do with Marcus Jones.

Yeah it is gross.. Is why I'm thinking Hunter isn't there.. I'm praying he will be.. as I'd love to have him. Also question? What's this April 1st deadline thing I've heard about for Aiyuk?

In 2023 the Titans added DeAndre Hopkins, then in 2024 they added an offensive minded coach in Brian Callahan and another WR in Calvin Ridley. Didn’t matter, Will Levis still stunk and to the point where he was benched for Mason Rudolph. Callahan inherited Levis from Vrabel and it didn’t work out. Now he’s going to get his own guy and draft Cam Ward.

His 2025 option bonus of $22M becomes fully guaranteed 4/1

Ugh.. don't remind me.. Mason Rudolph carved up the Jerod rust era defense.. Levis I don't think is a good QB.. I was just asking if Tennessee felt that trying to add another guy around him would spare him?

I honestly don't think Vrabel wanted levis either.

I remember how disgusted Mike Vrabel looked on Draft Day in 2022 when the Titans traded away AJ Brown. He clearly didn’t agree with Jon Robinson there. I also don’t think it was a coincidence that Robinson was fired that same week after Brown torched the Titans with the Eagles that season.

Yes!!! Didn't the GM Robinson get fired that traded AJ Brown? The new GM Vrabel didn't mesh with.. that's what happens when you have to alpha men.

BB even had levis in for a visit.. remember went out to dinner with him pre draft.
