It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I had the same thought, but I think the Pats are generally pretty cautious when it comes to recovery. One thing clearly in his favor is his age. Despite this being his third year, I believe he's still only 22.I have faith in the trainers but I hope they aren't pushing him back to quickly. I'd rather him fully healthy down the stretch than having this thing bothering him all year long. Then again, that may not be avoidable.

I don't want them to rush him back, but now the Seahawks have to spend time preparing for him so there is a benefit if he does not play.

That he is.
Fun facts:
* In 2010, Hernandez was the youngest player on any NFL roster—and GRONK was fourth.
* In 2011, Hernandez and GRONK were *still* the youngest TEs on any roster.
* In 2012, Hernandez and GRONK are *still* among the ten youngest TEs.
From all appearances Ahern recovered much faster than expected. I don't think he's being rushed back.
According to Zolak, Hernandez may not be going to Seattle after all. He says all the players pack their bags even if they aren't going. That means that Hernandez's bag would be in front of his locker even if he is going.
The team rushed Mayo back from his MCL in 2009 and he wasn't the same. The rushed Chung back and he wasn't effective. I think Hernandez would be a huge asset against the Seahawks, but it's not worth it to rush him back. Hoepfully they've learned.
Given the rain forecast for Sunday, I'm not sure how much Hernandez plays unless he is 100% recovered (which he may be).
Speaking of the forecast:

What is their state flower? Mildew? Maybe they drink so much coffee to keep from slipping into a weather-induced depression.
