It's obvious...Brady snuck in AH's cell and murdered him.Kurt Warner got the scoop straight from the big Guy upstairs and is now partnering with Mort the wart on a tell all expose'.
The Goodelloloid is lining up 50 million bucks in legal fees to take this case all the way to the Supreme Mara Court.v
.
It all makes so much sense now...Bravo!!!

Patriots, NFL may still have to pay Aaron Hernandez's family after death

This story just doesn't end! Looks like the law states that since he committed suicide during the appeals process and can't defend himself the convictions get dropped. Which means the NFL may owe his family a pension and the Patriots may owe them millions from his contract that was withheld because of the convictions. I'm sure it'll be a legal battle either way.

If that is why he killed himself then props to him for trying to do something good for his family and most of all his daughter. It would be one of the few decent things he's done with his life.

This truly is a twisted post. Has losing a lousy NFL franchise really messed with your mind that much?

He had already reached a settlement with the team in 2014

Could Patriots Actually End Up Owing Aaron Hernandez’s Estate Money?

There will be court procedures to determine whether the Pats have to pay (looks like they will have to do so) and who gets the money.
Couple points.

Hernandez was not waived for being convicted. As you recall he was waived about an hour after he was arrested. The reasoning was conduct unbecoming.
Hernandez filed a grievance to receive his unpaid bonus and guaranteed salary. There was a settlement. The settlement presumably covered any potential future payout. Following the settlement the future legal outcome should be irrelevant.
While Hernandez was acquitted of double murder he was found guilty of a gun charge. Patriots lawyers could argue that the gun charge is sufficient to show that he was potentially unavailable to fulfill his contract.

I am not certain but it sounds like the abatement is not automatic but must be appealed. Lawyers could argue that the suicide was designed to subvert the goals of the court.

I'm not buying the whole bi thing.

Maybe once he got to prison. But prior? Nah.

The whole bi thing sounds like a stretch, even in a maximum prison to have a "secret lover" seems like a stretch also.. from what I can tell there is not a lot of unsupervised time in a high security prison.. unless the CO's have been corrupted, which there is no evidence of. He may have had some homosexual encounters, but that is not acceptable... unless the inmates are "running the asylum".

Watching the news last night and all the families are lining up to try to make some money off of this event, first the family wants to sue the Mass. DOC then Odin Lloyd's family wants the Patriots to do the right thing by giving them $6,000,000 is that grieving??

Of course the family wants to blame Mass DOC as part of a "shakedown tour", not sure of their procedures but easy to tell if there was negligence as CCTV would show if his cell was not checked for the 7 hour period in question. I do not know their standards and procedures at Souza Baranowski, but pretty confident that he should have been checked.

What is not discussed by Atty's is the "last conversation" between AH and his girlfriend, was there a "breakup" going on??.. not sure if they record phone conversations, but that angle could be interesting..

IMO AH was a lost soul who really f..ed up, and for people to try to make money off of his death is troublesome... but bad news sells and atty's need to market their brand.

As long as it doesn't affect the salary cap, I could care less what gets paid by whomever to AH's family.

Seriously, suicide is a positive? Therefore, all individuals serving life terms should commit suicide if it financially helps their children. After-all, it is about the finances.

I think people overlook that Aaron Hernandez had been out of prison for the majority of the past 60 days. He was able to dress in nice clothes and interact with normal people on a daily basis, he was able to see friends and family, etc. That trial ended and he was back to being a caged animal and there wasn't another 60-90 day trial to look forward too. Even if he saw an appeal that was years away and a long shot.

Keep in mind Hernandez was only in prison since his conviction prior to that he was in county jail. Very different environments. It is not often that a person goes to prison and has a multiple month trial 2 years into it. Usually you go to prison and you never taste the outside world again so you adjust and stay adjusted.

I'm going to sound like an ******* saying this but I find it ridiculous that Lloyd's mother wants the Patriots to give her money. She raised her son to sell drugs and hang out with gang members and now she wants to be compensated for the fact those things cost him his life. Lloyd was not that much different than Bradley.

According to the Newsweek article Odin Lloyd was killed for calling AH Schmoocher.

Good lord, this story is just one layer after another.

Agree that the Patriots don't owe the Lloyd's a cent and any compensation should come from the Hernandez estate. (We'll see how that goes)

Do you know Lloyd's mother personally?

This story... needs to just die lik AH. I'm honestly tired of seeing his face.

I feel bad for his daughter, and obviously his victims, but for him? Hell naw! He took the easy way out.
Patriots should not be held liable, that includes the NFL, we paid his owed wages and cut ties with him. He put himself in this mess, not us!

If the bisexuality thing is true. The motive is certainly there for the murder... to keep the secret. I study psychology and it's pretty common for people to feel guilty about their sexuality. So that could be something in addition to the secret. This would explain a lot
