Aaron Hernandez Dead

Same here......when the moon landing was filmed they couldn't figure out how big they should make the image of the earth when they reflected it onto the studio wall.

I don't know... it wouldn't be the first time a "suicide" in prison turned out to be something different. Things happen and it's easy to make enemies there even before you get there. Being in a gang I'd imagine it's not hard to do. Not saying I believe any conspiracy theory just that it wouldn't surprise me.

Because you kill your self when you just beat a double murder rap

Not a chance in hell I believe this
Well, that didn't take long.

The next step for the families of the victims Hernandez was recently acquitted of any wrong doing would have been a much easier to prove civil suite. This would have stripped Hernandez's family from whatever $$ that was left. This move by Hernandez keeps that $$ for his finance's account.

AAAAAAAnnnnnddd........ it begins. Dude has reached room temperature and the conspiracy nutters are starting to show up.

Not you, of course. I noted the eye roll. But it sure didn't take long now, did it?

I don't think his suicide prevents a civil suit from going ahead.

He was already convicted of the Lloyd killing. He was going to spend life in prison without parole regardless of the outcome of the double murder trial.

That's my point.

Why stick around and waste all remaining family money on second trial if you already got life?

I feel nothing for this guy but it makes no sense to me

All indications released show this as a suicide, conspiracy theorists notwithstanding.
Hanged in his cell, with the cell door jammed from inside with articles from his cell. If it was forced, there would surely be marks on him.

It is odd, coming after a minor triumph in beating the double murder. Maybe it was confronting his family members in court, but presumably there would have been occasional visits.

I hope this somehow relieves some of the frustration and anger the families of his victims feel following the most recent trial.

Doesn't matter how talented a football player he was, he was a murderer. He placed his own importance, his own emotions, his own frikkin PRIDE, above the actual life of another human being, and took away that life. He took away the one thing that that man would ever have to call his own. That made the prisoner a [piece of trash, a drain on society because now we, the people, had to pay to provide for his incarceration. Meals, clothing, health care, etc.

I see this as a win for the taxpayers. The trash took itself out.

i just can't bring myself to feel sorrow for a serial killer.

Just a killer. He was just convicted of the one murder. He was likely complicit in the other murders but it wasn't proven in court. Let's try to be honest.

In the wake of this news, there's only one thing I know with absolute certainty: despite Shaughnessy's advanced age, he won't need Viagra today. Here comes the massive cheap shot column demonizing the Patriots for enabling Hernandez and being responsible for all that has happened with him. Bet on it.

He was a despicable man who took the coward's way out. I am having a problem shedding a tear for this. The man laid a path of destruction that left three men dead, one man severally wounded, their family and friends devastated, and his own family and friends left in the wreckage he created.

I was actually thinking Borges, but I see where you're going.

It doesn't.....but the main witness can no longer be interrogated.
That makes anywhere from little to no difference in a trial. My point is that I seriously doubt Hernandez had a civil trial in mind when he hung his laundry.

He was a psychopath..psychopaths are unpredictable. Something was going off in his mind telling him to just kill himself.

It's a sad end to a tragic story. I truly believe he was sick and shame on the DOC for not recognizing that fact and getting him help.
