Sorry, but making that statement isn't spin for the following reason: if it were ever proven that it occurred, his credibility would be shot completely. Spin would be much more vague than what he stated.

Belichick lied to Goodell about Spygate, if he has no concern for his creditability with the NFL commissioner I do not think he cares what the Boston Herald thinks of him. Belichick does what he thinks is best for his team, everyone else are on the outside and what they know or think does not matter to him.

b) He's not as good as Danny Amendola or Brandon LaFell
c) He's under discipline for yelling at his coaches

There doesn't seem to be another option. None are great.

Dobson's seat on the bench is because he's not good enough to beat out Brandon LaFell and Danny Amedola, and is 50/50 with Thompkins, depending on game plan.

Granted, Dobson's offseason was shot because of his foot, but that's still not good news.

I don't think it's that cut and dry. I think the team realizes what they're paying Amendola and are trying to give him every opportunity to lock dowm a primary role in the passing game. Sadly, he looks even slower than he did last season. I think it's only a matter of time before Dobson, and maybe Thompkins, leapfrogs him for snaps. That's just my opinion.

Every reporter gets some wrong. SMY doesn't break a lot of stories, but she's generally been solid.

I think most issues with her is just her "Well my sources are allowed to be wrong sometimes" stuff instead of just accepting she ran with a bad lead.

I don't have any ill will towards her, as some seem to, noone is perfect, it just sounds like a Peyton Manning excuse instead of stepping up and biting the bullet, that's all.

She's definitely one of the best reporters around the team right now and people shouldn't forget that just because she stood by what she thought was correct on this issue/non-issue.

Not really. If he's still struggling with the foot injury, then you have to consider that he may never be right. Foot injuries can be chronic. Just a really bad part of the body for healing.

I disagree strongly. I think Belichick cares deeply about his credibility with everyone. I also think he doesn't care what the media THINKS about him personally. He gave up hoping to be treated fairly by the media when he was in Cleveland 20 years ago. There's a huge difference between that and what what you're claiming.
