Mildly dumb post, less of a big deal than the "It'll be a different game when they come to Denver in January" quote but still dumb.

He will beast next year, if healthy. Just a feeling.

Not a huge deal but it would be better without it. Im friends with him on snap chat and he's always posting pictures of his sneakers wich is fine, but he posted a picture of the sneakers he was wearing like 40 minutes before the divisional game. Like come on man that's what's on your mind, not this mammoth game that's kicking off soon. Mike Reis's has alluded that isn't quite as competitive as they'd like, so all these small details do add up.

OK I know this is a stretch but the competitive all-in mentality is a key aspect in any competitive endeavor. There are many talented (Dobson talented) development engineers but the ones who survive & keep their jobs in elite Silicon Valley firms & in startups are those with both talent and the commitment to go all in, day after day. The ones with talent who either "don't get it" or for whatever reason (many good reasons like family) won't make the over the top level of effort are often cast aside.

Another example is the SpaceX Silicon Valley employee work style (brutal) vs Big Aerospace.

Yup, hard work is everything and can cover up for deficiencies. There is an old story about Steve Jobs when he was at Atari. Supposedly, he was smart, but not the smartest amongst that crowd, but come monday morning you always knew where to find him. Sleeping next to his desk - tired from working all weekend and late sunday night.

I think lots of college players can get by without the work. In the pros, it is all about preparation. You are all in, or you are out.

Do not see the outrage or even the concern, he is on IR the most he can work out is probably no more than 4 hours a day.. that leaves 20 hours to do what??

Just to be clear I regard the tweet as inconsequential and I wish Dobs best of luck on his recovery and preparation for training camp.

Once the doldrums of off season hit let's lobby Ian to bring Gym Rat back for entertainment value

I think the front office would have to make a move for kenbrell thompkins though. Or maybe we can start a go fund me capgaign and just pay the guy to post here.

If a Colts player, even on IR, had tweeted this, you can bet that BB would be posting it all over the Patriots locker room.
