A note about Chris Chase from USA Today

Just fyi - this guy is a new writer covering sports for USA Today, however he's anti Pats and IMO, dumber than hell. Yesterday he wrote that Andre Tippett should not be in the HOF, that got my angst up a tad, and I blasted away at him on Twitter. I'm about to do the same over this article:

what is he, an idiot? brady needs reps in case his suspension stands. think about it - if brady sits out the preseason he might not get a meaningful snap until October. we are all assuming (hoping) the suspension is overturned - we don't know what will happen.

I disagree, Brady does not need a single snap in the preseason and he will never serve 1 game of that ridiculous suspension...

I think Belichick let him start even though he hadn't practiced (and thus broken one of BB's Prime Directives) because Brady asked if he could start.

I think Brady asked if he could start because he always wants to play and, in this particular case, he wanted to be in Goodell's face after sitting in Court with him for an entire day and, according to all reports, neither saying a single word to him nor even looking at him. I think he was saying, "You just try to make me miss even a single game."

I could buy that Troy Aikman doesn't. I think he sorta Bradshaw'd his way in.

But Marcus Allen is possibly the best all-around back to play in the NFL, ever. And he lost two years to Bo Jackson.

Wow. This guy is so fukd in the head its a tragedy anyone would give him a platform to share his opinion. He has every topic he touched on backwards. Not gunna talk about that whole p.o.s. article but one thing I need to addres . He hates Belichick because he doesnt appreciate that the media is apparently the reason he gets the paycheck that he does. Of course , media/advertising has increased the huge salaries players/coaches pull in but first and foremost these guys get paid because they're the best at what they do and football/sports in general would have a huge fan base w/ or w/o the annoying 24 hour news cycle/ hype train that surrounds it. These fuking sports reporters have jobs because of the likes of BB, not the other way around.

Brady wants to play. Brady himself believes his 2008 ACL injury was due to lack of pocket awareness from the lack of any snaps that preseason. Since then, he's missed some games but never the whole preseason as he did that year.
