A Non Patriots Fan Put Together An Amazing Video On Why The Pats Never Cheated

As a Pats fan, I'm thankful for that Cardinals fan who put this thing together.

Also....

As a Pats fan.... I don't give two 5hits what the rest of the 31 fanbases, players on those teams, and the mediots, think.... I know what my Pats are made of. And that's all that counts in my book. There will be a day when people will miss this dynasty era.

One funny thing is the the December 2006 of Ray Anderson claiming Miami buying CBS audio from a CBS employee (nah, that's not sketchy or anything), was completely fine, but if NE used any potential future scouting material via technology, just 1 year later, it was like committing double murder.

^^^^^^^^^^^This proves the narrative ESPN pushes comes from Goodell himself.

Such a drastic 180 proves the lying and framing of the Pats.

So, Miami "cheated" us for a 21-0 shutout win and all was good, but NE was held to a completely different standard, because this is what owners/GMs talk about behind closed doors at these meetings without Kraft in the room.

BB mocking Manboobs in retaliation for Manboobs asking for TWO cameras in Foxborough (not legal, unless approved, where the home team is also running 2 cameras), is just that....BB was mocking an arrogant turd named Mangini, who was locked out of Gillette after trying to steal laptops and other in-house information for his own selfish reasons.

Once I heard Cowher's interview on 12.3.10 on 98.5, it confirmed what we all knew. The Pats are being cheated and the Pats have never cheated.
Goodell destroyed the tapes BB sent him, while freaking out about what Walsh had, simply because it would have exposed the framejob; other teams were filming our team from the sidelines.

No one ever cared about the locations as long as tapes never came out of the recorder during the game, which obviously would be very hard to not only watch but be able to diagnose during the game. With technology changing so fat the last 10 years, it's a good idea to honestly not even allowing filming anymore, if they were truly concerned about the "integrity". Goodell is a liar and a fraud, where we know he has no integrity whatsoever.

The dead giveaway is that no other teams were punished for the same thing, the act of filming is legal and Goodell never checks teams' tapes.

This video is very well put together. Excellent research and amazing splicing of the games and articles.

But I have no hope for the haters who have it in their head TO THIS DAY that the Pats cheated. I doubt they would have the patience nor the attention span to watch all 8 minutes of this video. With all the info readily available to search anytime they want, they choose to dig their heads in the sand and continue to hate. F em.

I saw one a dork did on You Tube, yesterday, where it runs all the way up through Sunday's game. The montage is an embarrassment. The guy/moron who put the video together, literally lies throughout the whole thing and doesn't even know what the catch rule is.

Bouye mauls Cooks an he claimed it was not PI. These people have some kind of a mental illness to go through that much effort to convince themselves, simply because of how great NE is as a team.

He kept claiming he's never seen calls over-turned "in the history of the NFL", or the Cooks catch to beat Houston, the ball hit the ground, where he completely ignores that Cooks does actually have an arm and a forearm underneath the ball.

People believe and see what they want to see, and it's worse now than ever over the past 20 years with the invention of the internet. We're wired to hope to be right as humans, and all it takes is one moron on the web to find a match for your opinion or sentiment on a topic, and then you feel validated in your original belief.

Old people are really bad at admitting their beliefs or opinions were wrong years ago. It's a weird thing, really.

There's nothing wrong with being mistaken and learning why you were wrong.

A minor quibble: the football that the Colts intercepted was not the one football reading 2 psi below 12.5. So blame the Colts for their paranoia, for their stupidity, for starting the whole mess, for lies about what went on (the player never said that the ball felt soft, for example), and for feeding crap to the media and to the NFL. But I don't think that they leaked any air out of that ball (other than a minute amount, when they illegally tested it).

The intercepted ball was tested not once but three different times, using the same pressure gauge, by refs and they obtained these values: 11.45, 11.35 and 11.75 psi. Right in the range where it should have been, given the temperature. This testing was separate from that on the other footballs.

But look at the range of those readings: 11.45, 11.35 and 11.75 psi. This was one of the key points that I made at the time, that the gauges were not just different from one another but they were also pretty crappy gauges that gave variable results.

Is a reading of 11.35 different from 11.75? In this context, obviously not, since they are both measurements that made on the same football by the same person! There is clearly some inherent variability / error in the measurement: the “error bar” for any pressure gauge reading was quite high, and at least 0.4 psi! Yes they make grandiose cheating allegations on differences far far smaller than the error bar. Make no mistake, the readings as a whole were entirely within experimental error of where they should have been, considering the temperature.

As I've posted before, it's called cognitive dissonance. If you confront a person with facts/arguments that they can neither rebut or accept (typically due to conditioning or brainwashing), they WILL hallucinate. In sports this is annoying but harmless; in politics, it can be dangerous and result in a lot of people getting killed.

There was a reason why Woody Johnson hired Goodell, made him change the rule to include "sidelines" for filming and why it was literally the first order of business on 9.6.06, Goodell's first official day as commissioner.

I could argue the hiring of Mangini after only 1 year as a DC, where he was pretty mediocre, was a long term plan in general by Johnson, to further harm BB who just lost his two coordinators the year prior. There really is no case than can be made that Mangini was ready to become a head coach, especially for that pathetic franchise.

One Mangini got there, Johnson learned of anything and everything BB does, and it's pretty obvious Johnson thought somehow, some way, that even though his team filmed our team, magically, only NE was getting an advantage, which is obviously hilarious on its own two feet.

There's also a reason as to why the original claim was "for use in the game THAT DAY", where the claim was BB and the video coordinator would sneak off into a secret room on the road to diagnose signals off the tape...Which is hilarious to think about, just like an overweight part time guy Brady doesn't even know, deflating 12 balls so perfectly in 90 seconds...A halftime is 15 minutes..It takes about 3 mins to walk in and out of the building to the field, so that would leave really no time. What, was Ernie Adams waiting in a some secret room with a portable VCR and small tv? lol

I mean, these people are seriously disturbed. If everybody films one another and everyone knows with no tapes checked, then obvioulsy NE would need to be framed as doing something different than everyone else, for it to be seen as cheating.

Filming one's hands signals or anything else you want, is completely legal.....What wouldn't be legal is USING what you captured in the game that day, which is WHAT the rule is really for.

Hence, the attempted sell job by the Jets/ESPN to claim NE was using the tapes during the game, which is why BB's halftime adjustments are so great. LOL

Woody Johnson knew he needed an angle, so he had ESPN pump that one first, where it was easily debunked as preposterous, and they then shifted it to be ONLY NE was filming, which of course is the lie.

Hence, why BB's tapes were destroyed. If the average person saw other teams' on Foxborough's sidelines, it would show it was a framejob.

I remember certain media people asking Goodell if other teams' were in violation and he quickly said "yes", but then moved on and redirected the dialogue.

This is now flipped around with haters claiming they were destroyed, when in reality, the Walsh tapes were showed to us, edited mind you, by Goodell himself, so the whole "destroying the tapes" claim makes no sense in terms of trying to "protect" the Pats. The Pats did nothing wrong other than not take the new additions to the brand new adjustment of the rule, more seriously.

That's only thing they did wrong and Goodell intentionally ignored the Jets/Pats feud, which ironically ties into the 20+ years of Jets jealousy and shenanigans, which also connects to the "Two Bills" documentary coming out this week, when the Jets cheated us out of SB 31, distrtracting Parcells. I mean, this cheating by the Jets, goes way, way back.

It's no different than Goodell lying about accessing the Ray Rice tape from the casino/hotel. He claimed he had no legal rights, which of course, is a lie.

We don't need to actually see it....We know what happened. He's too arrogant and apparently dumb to think his educated NFL customer won't know the truth if they actually do a little digging and easily find clues to expose how bad of a liar he is.

I agree. I have a theory that the internet has made our society even more dumb than it already was.

So, we're 20 years into this new world we line in, where Millennials don't' know any different.

Most older people know what Goodell has been doing, but the younger fans, are completely clueless.

It's the Stanley Milgrim experiment from 1961. If a person on power says something, you tend to believe it, regardless.

Ever notice that Millennials are more accepting of Goodell as the PC Police and 5th place trophy vibe he plays to, knowing those same younger group of people, also play in like 5 fantasy leagues each as they play Madden NFL video games?

"Envy and jealousy are incurable diseases." ~Robert Kraft~
Once upon a time (maybe last in'05) it bugged me that people hated on a team that I've loved since I first saw them at Fenway. Now I embrace the demented child like hate, in 21st century America it's come to pass as a twisted form of respect. The losers whine & hate out of fear and the knowledge the Boogieman Pats are going to depant their team...AGAIN. Nobody hates on the Brownies.

I'll take it a step further and suggest that the NFL panders to the insane and the stupid because they're the only ones who'll buy the crappy products produced by the NFL's sponsors. Just look at the list:

Papa John's-crappy pizza;
Anheuser-Busch-crappy beer;
Ford- Found On Road Dead;
Dannon- sugary yogurt falsely claiming to be healthful;
Fast food, soda, etc. . . .

Smart/sane people don't consume this stuff . . . at least they shouldn't.

BTW, this guy's voice is so soothing and relaxing. I almost fell asleep at my desk here listening to him. And that's not because I was bored.

Well...technically we did break the rules* right? It's illegal to film from the sidelines, and we did it.

The argument is that it's an incredibly minor violation, it played no role in our success, other teams have done it, other teams have cheated far worse than we did and got punished less, etc.

I know I'll get dislikes for that, but I think it's important to be precise about the argument, even if the haters aren't.

*edited; previously used the word 'cheat'

Well, not really. A rules violation doesn't mean there was in intent. Goodell proved there needs to be intent because Carolina/Minny were caught warming balls, but it was decided the players didn't know any better. Same deal with walkie talkies and the Giants.

Again, 1 set of rules for 31 NFL teams, one SPECIAL set just for NE.

But, Goodell knew it was in retaliation for the Jets cheating at the back end of 2006, so BB was sort of mocking the new portion of the rule and the memo, because Godell did nothing for the Jets using 2 cameras in Foxborough.

The only way the Jets were within the rules is if NE had 2 cameras going at the same time.

The whole point is, it needs to be even. Same deal with the ball prep or headsets. Teams thought the home team shouldn't be the only side of the ball playing with broken in balls, which the road QB uses brand new ones. Makes sense. If one team's headsets go out, the the team's is shut down, and so forth.

I'd hardly call a tiff between two franchises and BB mocking Mangini, wanting Estrella to be seen like that to mock Mangini (and the Jets), as "cheating".

That word gets thrown around in our society way, way to frequently. If all teams film, and film another, it cannot be cheating. That wasn't why BB had Estrella on the sidelines. Note how the Pats weren't in violation in 2006, the very year the rule was adjusted.

It's a minor rules violation, maybe a small fine for both teams engaging in it, and a conference call with a very stern warning and a cease and desist.

Instead, Goodelll used as a tool to steal a draft pick. He did it again with Deflategate.

If anyone is actually "cheating", it's some owners and how they use Goodell.

The bottomline is, Goodell allowed lies to be said, sold it to the public, used it and it made it look like it was a real thin, AND that NE's brilliance was magically tied to filming, just because.

It's honestly one of this country's greatest purported myths. There are people out there that still believe it.

lmao
