Even the eye test : pre Maye, I felt no hope on third down. Now, there is a chance he does something to keep the O moving.

This is an example of “the numbers and what you see are aligned”. And imo, this is one of Maye’s early strong suits.

It is frustrating that the defense can't stop anyone now when the offense is finally plays well enough to give the them time to catch their breath between series of downs.

It's embarrassing Covington and Mayo have both been here under Bill. Are they ignoring all the defense prowess they gave learned under Bill? Or maybe they were skipping class. The defense is the biggest disappointment this season in my opinion.

I thought Maye looked very good under C at Chicago. Footwork looked good. Didn’t appear we used him that way as much against Rams. I was screaming to get him under there on 3rd and one which became a 4th and 1. Then, a penalty and a FG.

I hope that they give AVP and Maye enough time to get good.

Maye is already good as a rookie and getting better each game he's entering the conversation as a top 10 QB like I expect him to be by seasons end. As much as there is to complain about with this team all around they finally fixed the most important position in football
