A Jets fan stands for the National Anthem

And drinks his beer through a straw.
This photo is a microcosm of so many things wrong with (1) Jete fans and (2) our country in general.

You couldn’t be more right. It feels like the country has been taken over by idiots like this guy.
Heck, he might as well be the president.

I agree, hypocrites are the worst on both sides and all grounds.

Clearly you only identify conservatives as hypocrites lol.

I would take offense at the notion that Conservatives are all oblivious to the fact that the Flag is a Symbol of Rights that Veterans fought and died for

Some Conservatives - hopefully most - are smart enough to know they didn't die for a piece of cloth. They died to protect the Rights that the flag symbolizes.

The only way to truly desecrate the flag is to desecrate the rights it represents by restricting the 1st Amendment as the faux-Conservative in the White House would apparently love to do

If ever a POTUS assumed the mantle of Dictator and took away the rights veterans died for, the flag would no longer be a symbol worth respecting.

Although I'd no longer have the "right" to do so, I would be among the first to burn such a flag - as it would symbolize that veterans fought and died for nothing.

Meanwhile, all those who sit on their couches at home during the anthem while decrying players who are respectfully kneeling to draw attention to the fact that Injustice for Some is ultimately Injustice for All, are the TRUE hypocrites in this.

Far too many seem unaware that Veterans groups are the ones who suggested players kneel, in a protest that remains respectful to them - rather than sitting.

The ignorance of some in this country is truly sad.
