A curious thing about 2-2

We've been 2-2 five times and went to the playoffs in all of those, and won 3 Superbowls if I'm not wrong.

Yeah I'm asking how they felt at the time it was happening though.

For long time fans, how did you feel at 1-3, 2-2 in the previous SB years? Im assuming 01 was a shock.

2001 we hadn't won anything yet. It was a matter of seeing what would happen. At 5-5 the team seemed to be putting something together and they never lost again.
2014 was maybe worse than right now with people overracting.
2003 they got hammered in the opener then lost a game they should have won vs Washington and looked like crap. They never lost again.


Every season is different and every season has different problems. With bb in charge they all get fixed or worked around.

This team had had too much success for too long for a fan base to sit around crying over 2-2 and a month of bad defense.

I guaranty that if we were fans of any of the 31 other teams, we'd be complaining about a defense ranked dead last in yards and points.
