98.5: online stream switches during Pats games?

It seems whenever the Pats play, 98.5 switches to syndicated programming online. Is there another place online to catch Gil and Gino's call? What am I missing here???

The NFL contracts with specific networks to provide the game nationally. In the case of MNF, that's espn. As a result they won't allow local broadcasts such as 98.5, or a Miami radio station to stream online.

It stinks for you and me but I guess it makes sense for those networks that are paying a lot of money for those broadcast rights. You can probably hear the game online on espn radio, but obviously that won't be Gil and Gino.

You can listen over the air but not online. This isn't new, though the NFL allows teams to select a game here or there to be streamed. NFL has a league audio pass you can pay for to listen to any game online. This is also why Sirius does not stream all of the games.
