The Patriots have downgraded the following players to out:

LB Eric Alexander
S Mel Mitchell
RB Sammy Morris
TE Benjamin Watson
DE Mike Wright

great, the only one that bothers me is the mike wright one...hes a quality back up, and seems to actually be hurt pretty bad...

Wasn't Alexander hurt by a teammate in celebration of a ST's tackle?

No big surprises, I guess. But missing those two on ST's for the second week is not good.

Not sure of the severity of the injuries, so lets hope they can get back on the field against the 'skins.

Wright, Mitchell and Alexander are HUGE special teams losses.. Wright is a great wedge buster. Mitchell and Alexander are great tacklers.. Ginn could have a field day

As long as Alexander makes it back to cover Dallas Clark on Nov 4, we will be in good shape.

i have a feeling Ginn will break 1. hes broken 1 already but got called back. with 3 of our 6 STers..we might let 1 up

Did Alexander return after that OR was he out of the game?? Just cutious as Thompson had that long run in the 2nd half...
