I can't handle the other forums right now and needed a break. Anyway still some really good talent at this stage.

27th

Jimmy Smith CB BAL
Devin McCourty DB NWE
Donald Brown RB IND
Antoine Cason DB SDG
Robert Meachem WR NOR
DeAngelo Williams RB CAR
Roddy White WR ATL
Jason Babin LB HOU
Larry Johnson RB KAN
Mike Rumph DB SFO
Michael Bennett RB MIN

Rumph and Brown are the only real disappointments. Bennett was ok and everybody else pretty good.

31st

Cam Heywood DT Pitt
Jerry Hughes DE IND
Chris Wells RB ARI
Kenny Phillips DB NYG
Greg Olsen TE CHI
Kelly Jennings DB SEA
Mike Patterson DT PHI
Rashaun Woods WR SFO
Nnamdi Asomugha DB OAK
Robert W. Thomas LB STL
Todd Heap TE BAL

This list is a lot more shaky, Woods........shudder.....but still some very good players.

Players of note who went in between these picks Reggie Wayne, Nick Barnett, Heath Miller, Marlin Jackson, Luis Castillo, Marcedes Lewis, Nick Mangold, Ben Grubbs, Joe Staley, Dustin Keller, Kenny Britt, Akeem Nicks, Eric Wood and Muhammad Wilkerson.

31 Woods........shudder.....

9er fan here...

yup.:bricks:

plenty of talent to be had at any draft pick, and Bellichek is pretty good at finding talent at certain positions. Just pray he sticks to those.

LOL. Sorry I wasn't picking on the 49ers but ya they had two really bad ones there.

not at all... those are two of the worst draft picks i have ever witnessed. Throw Kentwan Balmer in there and you've got the trifecta

i dont see BB useing them both he will trade down into the 2th round with at lest one of them and maybe even both

Agreed. There's a very similar level of talent between the late twenties and the mid forties. If certain people are gone like Hightower, then trading down will be very likely.

Hard to immagine some team doesnt want to trade up to 31 and BB listens like every year.

I'm almost convinced that BB is ignoring even long held mantra's like "value" and just looking for a dance partner instead with his second first round pick.

All the more reason he needs to trade up this year, solves the finding a dance partner problem and should get us a defensive PLAYMAKER!!!!!!!!

I know what your saying and i'm not saying i disagree about trading up for the best player on your board.

But i disagree about having to trade up for a "play maker". This has been shown by McCourty last year pick 27 pro bowler as a rookie 8 int's. Clay Mathews pick 26? 10 sacks, Hakeem Nicks 29 big playmaker , Vonte davis 25. These were just the last 2 drafts. I won't go into the 2nd rounders.

I think you can find your play maker at 25-32 you just need to make the right pick.
