He was pegged as one of the best pass catching TEs in the draft, maybe the best pure pass catcher. This is surprising.

IIRC Stowers was a pretty raw QB conversion drafted for his off the charts athleticism. It’s possible he’s just temporarily overwhelmed by the jump to a pro offense and will come around. That said, I’m happy we got the Eli we did!

More deserving for poor tradecraft. Always cruise the site of the meet first, in a non-suspicious way. Make sure you won’t be ambushed. Any cash transactions are an invitation to get robbed. Anything at all looks off just keep on driving. Be careful to give no traffic violation or cause for stopping. There’s no reasonable grounds for suspicion about a random car just driving past. Don’t circle back unless it’s a cul de sac. Map it out first, avoid any cul de sac because of ambush potential. Tell the cops you were checking out potential real estate investment opportunities. That’s enough to fight reasonable suspicion and try to get cell phone seizure invalidated to suppress all evidence connecting to online activities. Amateur! I knew what you meant by your original post. 49er fans really don't like this guy and were already irritated with him when he had hamstring issues prior to him getting shot. It continued the following season and now a season ending injury. Fans have very little patience for players teams reach on in the draft. We know this very well.

I think it stems from the 9ers fans really upset nothing came from the teams they built from 2019-2023. They are tired of Shanahan/Lynch's bad drafts. Then you have them mismanaging the Aiyuk situation, power plant "causing injuries", Shanahan's car crash and now Jed York getting arrested. It's a sh*t show there and their window has shut.

They have two SB titles (possibly three) at minimum without bad coaching in 2019, 2021 (Rams NFC title game), and 2023. If those results are reversed, bad drafts are forgiven. See--Patriots between 2013-2019. Bad drafts didn't stop them from winning 3/4 SB titles.

I hope we are watching the LA Rams TE situation: we could really get a Good Third TE from them who can Start. They have spent a lot of Draft capital on that Position in consecutive Drafts.

I think they’re most likely to keep most, if not all of their TEs that are worth a damn. Considering they run the most 13 personnel in the league by far..
