I am not going to know all the comps. I am lucky that I recognized Tyquan and Harbor are both track athletes, and not overly coordinated, so they have to catch with their bodies, not their hands. I was proud of myself for recognizing that.
However, I am clever enough to see that signing FAs by need and drafting BPA is the best strategy.
And I lived in Brum for 4 years and my son was born in England. We are almost half brothers.
I know a head coach who values leadership from his players.
7 drops on 113 targets last year for an 8.5% drop rate. Not amazing, but not terrible either. For comparisons sake, Tet had 8 and Kyle Williams and Emeka Egbuka had 5. It's certainly something to keep an eye on this year. He had 73 receptions last year so he can certainly catch the ball.So Tyson can separate but can't catch?
I'm waiting on Hollywood Smothers to declare.Maybe I am a child but I want this guy on the team because of his last name.

Germie Bernard, Alabama 6-1, 209lbs
1. He reminds me of Emeka Egbuka with his ability to get open in zone coverage in the intermediate parts of the field.
2. He screams Josh McDaniels 'Z' to me.
3. Smart guy and looks as NFL ready as most receivers I see. One thing that frustrates me about CFB WRs is the one foot in bounds rule which must slow NFL development. On a number of occasions, I've seen Bernard do the two foot touch on sideline plays which tells me he'll need less time to adjust to the NFL.
4. In '24, he split time between the slot and out wide equally giving him McDaniels worthy versatility.
5. Only 2 drops all last year.
6. As 'Bama crumbled in their first game against FSU, Bernard did not with 8/146. 82% of his snaps in that game were out wide.
7. I haven't seen anything negative about his character, only positives.
As you may know, I'm someone who loves a WR that just does everything right, even if that does mean sacrificing higher end traits. Bernard is that for me.
