2026 Draft: Tight Ends

Therein lies the fundamental problem of the draft. Who?

I think if Sadiq tests well, will possibly be the only TE that goes in the 1st round. That leaves a ton of TEs to choose from in rounds 2-7. I think a guy like Oscar Delp will be a better NFL TE than he was in college. Very athletic TE with good hands and good speed. Would be worth a 3rd or 4th round pick and then surprise people in the NFL. Raridon, Koziol & Klein would all be excellent picks, and may go higher based on their Combine testing. Of course, there will probably be a run on TEs at some point, maybe in the 2nd round.

To me, Stowers is a really exciting prospect that’ll probably go in round 2, he’s that good. He’s a freak physically. He’s going to test really well. Most likely under 4.60 in the 40, probably a 39+ vertical. He’s a former QB who understands the game. Really good high pointing the ball. He really is a matchup nightmare due to his speed and jumping ability.

Looking at this particular TE class, I don't have the faintest idea who that is.

With his speed, Kanak might be the one guy that finds the most roles on Offense & ST's. 3 years at LB...might have that mentality Vrabel loves.

Has Josh used an undersized flex TE well in the past though? He who can't be named was a Bill O'Brien weapon if I remember rightly. If he can block as a FB then I can see it but Henry is one of Maye's favourite targets and I don't know if JMac would sacrifice Henry reps to give Kanak reps.

I could be completely wrong but this is why I've been looking more towards Hooper replacements (ie TEs that can lineup inline) that may develop into future Henry pass catching TEs.

I can't deny that Kanak's speed is enticing though.

Could have kept it simple (simplistic) due to OL but it was disappointing (adjustments, etc.).

So it turns out two of my binkies this year come from Canada. These aren't the best set of highlights of Rohan Jones because they're from his Montana State days but boy is he quick. I wonder if he can give Kanak a run for his money as fastest TE in the draft. I've seen him reported as running mid 4.5s. Sadly we'll have to wait for his pro day as he's not at the combine. A true deep threat receiving TE.
