I don’t read much into that comment, seemed to be playing around. His main focus was speed. I think though that at a lot of the speed rushers are day 2 players. In fact I don’t see many good options at 31 in general at edge. If we trade back to early/mid round 2, that seems their sweet spot.

Mesidor related facts.

I like prospects who are at their best the harder the game is. To that end.

At the start of last season, Miami's two toughest games were against Notre Dame and Florida. Mesidor had 13 pressures and two sacks in those two games alone.

Mesidor had three multi-sack games. One was against Syracuse (so far so ordinary). The other two were against Ohio State and Indiana in the championship game.

A third of Mesidor's pressures came in the playoffs. 23 in total, including 11 against the best pass blocking OL in CFB. He also had 5 sacks in the playoffs.

He's a man that elevates his game, the harder it gets.

I really hate when guys like Crawford are told by agents that they don't need to partake in the full interview process (ie. doing the testing). Crawfor'd College career wasn't so stellar that he could pass it up.

I know Brugler has him in the 2nd round, but he shouldn't be there. Mid 3rd round.

Its interesting g to have Faulk and Young listed their profiles as bigger, stronger edges and then not have Parker. Maybe he assumes Parker and Mesidor are gone?

Im fine with Howell at 31, but do think Jacas and Lawrence should be in the discussion as well. I wouldnt complain about any of them.

I like R Mason Thomas, but coming in at just 240ish has moved down a little bit on the list. If hes a mid or late 2, Id be ok. 31 does seem to better a tad high after the measurables came out.

Breer has never had inside info before, I doubt he all of a sudden made a bunch of friends. Breer and Zolak, no connections.
