Played some DE on a 3 man front out of team necessity for a bit. Big dude with no character concerns I know of. Built like a damn cyborg.I didn't know who that was until I saw the Illinois Football clue. I just don't know about Jacas. not great pass rushing numbers* but there is a lot to like in terms of character, strength.
* Hold up! I think I dismissed him as an edge rusher mid-season but he had 7 sacks in the last 4 games to finish the year with 12, the same as Howell and Bain and Jacas didn't have the playoffs.
I really hope that Bain drops down the board because of his arm length. I know it won't happen, but I would love that so muchWhat's impressive about the speed move around the LT is that Bain is 273#. As Doug Farar notes, moves like a 240# speed rusher.
I'm torn between Bain and Faulk, would still take Peter Woods above either, would would be ecstatic with any of the above.
Bain does a lot of power rushes. Is that common with guys that have shorter arms?I really hope that Bain drops down the board because of his arm length. I know it won't happen, but I would love that so much
Good get off. Gets in to the tackles chest before they can react.Bain does a lot of power rushes. Is that common with guys that have shorter arms?
I wonder how high DDS ends up going. Is he gettable at 63 or does he get backto the high 2nd or bottom of the first?DDS said that his pass rush plan starts with speed to power, I felt like we lacked that last year on the edge. Chaisson is a speed guy, I prefer guys that are able to win with a bull rush, but are able to use other moves when needed. I am leery about guys like Bonito that are primarily speed rushers.
I am not saying speed rushers cannot be good but I think they are predictable. Bonito has been amazing but I think he is the exception and not the rule. My opinion on Chaisson is that he is not strong enough to fight through contact, so if just speed isn't working he is kinda stuck and becomes a "try hard" guy because he has a high motor.
I can't see him going in the first.I wonder how high DDS ends up going. Is he gettable at 63 or does he get backto the high 2nd or bottom of the first?
I think that he is going top 50 because after that athletic performance and his back to back 8.5 sack seasons. I imagine that he will do very well in all of his interviews and will endear himself to teams.I wonder how high DDS ends up going. Is he gettable at 63 or does he get backto the high 2nd or bottom of the first?
