The myth that Tyquan Thornton has improved just got busted there, Mahomes bought about 10 seconds and he was just jogging around not even running a route and got a 30 yard competition.

Mahomes buys time and makes plays that's why he's getting stats.

That was against a zone. He shouldn't be sprinting through zone. He played that exactly the way he should have, stayed at where there was a hole in the zone.

On his other catch he smoked the DB who had him in man coverage. Should have been a TD but Mahomes underthrew him.
