Many Pats fans rooted for the wrong team tonight. Just like we should have wanted the Chiefs to beat the Broncos several weeks ago, we should have wanted the Chiefs to win tonight.

I'm not gonna declare the Chiefs dead you never wanna overreact it's the same as the people insisting they're good this year when they're clearly not, i'm declaring the 2025 Chiefs dead this is a mediocre football team.

I can see them having a Patriots 2006 clarity moment and being like what are we doing here with some of these weapons and making a big trade for a WR and moving on from some of their legends.

2 big differences.
1) The Patriots were ahead in the AFCCG in 2006, and blew a big lead. Chiefs team might not even make the playoffs.
2) Patriots had a good bit of cap room going into 2007. Chiefs do not.

Brady's worst seasons were 10-6 and a divisional round loss in 2005, 10-6 and a wild card loss in 2009, and then an 8-9 DIVISION WINNING season at the age of 45.

Mahomes is about to miss the playoffs, and possibly with a losing record, at the age of 30 lol

I want the Pats to have a bye. The Pats don’t control their own destiny anymore. The Broncos have the tiebreaker. We needed them to lose to the Chiefs to give the Pats a game advantage.

The Chiefs were not going on another run. They aren’t good enough. They would be likely one and done in the playoffs.

I want the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. The Chiefs winning against the Texans and Broncos give them a better shot at that goal. I would rather the Pats face the Chiefs in the playoffs than play the AFCCG in Denver or face the Texans in the playoffs.

After the 5 minute mark of the 2nd quarter, they had 3 first downs, screwed up the end of the half, and screwed up multiple other times in basic game management.

These are the teams you want to see in the playoffs.
