Love the defensive scheme, looks like classic dynasty defense. The right personnel and matchups on the field. Looks like they learned from mistakes at joint practices where slot CB’s were caught in mismatch’s with TE’s. Better coaching is really evident.
It looks like playing zone defense (cover 4) is their way to balance the more aggressive DL play. Ok to overshoot the QB or lose contain if the DBs are going to respond to a guy sneaking out. I’m thinking about the 3rd and long earlier this quarter when Howell scrambled.
