The province of Alberta's population (5.1 mill) is less than Massachusetts.What can I say, Edmonton loves its hockey and is willing to spend for the privilege… Another example of that is, during the WHA’s 7-year run, Edmonton & Winnipeg were the only two franchises who went wire-to-wire without moving, folding etc… What else is there to do up there, after all?
