2025 / 2026 College watch thread

Diggs is an NFL vet of 11 years. Lemon is a college junior. Sure, I csn buy that Diggs has more nuance to his game than Lemon.
The good WRs develop that nuance. I have no idea which college WRs will develop it. The Rams seem to understand it having drafted Cupp and Nacua. The Rams passed on Chism.

Dwight Freeney is my standard for a speed rusher who was so freakishly disruptive that he just blew up plays right and left and turned into a HOFer.

Just catching up with the scores etc , I guess I was a little surprised with the Oregon score but Indiana must have played well enough.

Oregon was sloppy, and Indiana DL dominated their OL. Moore struggled under constant pressure.

Thanks , I will have a look at the highlights

O’Brien to UNC and BB to BC? Lol

What a mess at Chestnut Hill.

My first chance to watch TCU this year. Ed Small at WR highly impresses. He's a true freshman so he'll just get better. He's one of these guys whose measureables don't glow in neon lights but he just gets things done. Keep an eye on him.

Getting hosed. Gamecocks winning in Baton Rouge wasn’t part of the script.

Louisville at Miami on Friday. Clev Lubin and Chris Bell versus the Miami pass rush duo and CJ Daniels plus one of the most exciting freshmen in CFB, Miami WR Malachi Toney.

So week 8 and half way through the regular season. Games that maybe worth watching....

Louisville v Miami (2)
LSU (10) v Vanderbilt (17)
Ole Miss (5) v Georgia (9)
Tennessee (11) v Alabama (6)
USC (20) v Notre Dame (13)
Utah (23) v BYU (15)

I think these are the main games however after reading a few web pages there are games with various implications either Heisman hopefuls , division match ups , old rivalries etc that would merit a mention but I dont want to list them all

Happy watching

I’m all in on Louisville-Miami, Tennessee-Alabama and USC-Notre Dame this weekend.

Very excited by the UsC Notre Dame matchup more so because it’s my first look at Notre Dame since opening day and they have some really interesting talent who are starting to play now: Eli Raridon, the two RBs, Malachi Fields, Leonard Moore and Boubacar Traore.

When this a uniform option, why wouldn't you wear it all the time?

If there is anyone watching the game, some key numbers to look out for.

Louisville

Chris Bell - 0
Clean Lubin - 50

Miami

Rueben Bain - 4
Akheem Mesidor - 3
CJ Daniels (WR) -7
Mark Fletcher (RB) - 4

How does Mark Fletcher have the se Uber as Rueben Bain?

Bain + Mesidor = Daniels
Offense v Defense. I don’t know what would happen if they wanted to put Bain in as a FB. Presumably they can’t.

Chris Bell is strong. He’s not strong enough to break a Mesidor tackle though
