Let's not dismiss Mahomes Great Coaching Staff. During our Dynasty years we had Great Coaching all around: that counts for something.

Thats true enough. I just have seen Mahomes get off the mat slower and slower when he gets drilled. I also don't think he has that burning desire that Brady did. I doubt many do really.

I'd like Maye to get with the Brady plan though earlier rather than later. Get his body ready for the long run.

I'll be honest, we're just seeing how slow he actually is now. He and Mac Jones ran pretty similar 40s at their pro days. Also, he's a lot more cognizant of when he's running the ball.

For his rookie year though? I need Maye to run more. He needs to keep on that read option look a few times, because teams are loading up on the running back. I can only guess he's being told not to keep, which is insane because a) it's wide open, and b) his read option fake is actually excellent.

Also, you run now, and become a weapon, you can do that the first year or two (like Mahomes, for example), and the defense respects it for the next decade.

Hasty showed some nice instincts today out of the backfield. So that was a thing. We saw KJ Osborn for the first time in a month.

Agreed again. I kept telling you he had something special and until he proves me wrong...

I do want to see some more power on the sideline throws too, but that will come over time. I want to see what he will look like at the end of the year. Might be something...and get the eye of people around the league.

I loved his talent
My major concern was he likes to run and take hits
He looks like a stick figure
Once he cannot run anymore his overall talent will diminish

Watching Maye
You can see he is raw. Which is understandable
I think he will be a film room junkie. The 4 older successful athlete brothers and Mom and Dad who don’t like to lose at sports because they too were athletes.
He will be a competitor, tough minded and a great teammate
Those are the key for that position
Now to see how this all translates into his success will be soon coming
But I feel with his intangibles it gives me hooe
