During our Dynasty years we had Great Coaching all around: that counts for something.even in 2006, 2013, 2019 when Brady had **** to throw to, he still had respectable numbers
meanwhile Mahomes out here with absolute **** numbers and 6-0 yet zero peep about him being carried by the defense and refs this year.
I'll be honest, we're just seeing how slow he actually is now. He and Mac Jones ran pretty similar 40s at their pro days. Also, he's a lot more cognizant of when he's running the ball.Thats true enough. I just have seen Mahomes get off the mat slower and slower when he gets drilled. I also don't think he has that burning desire that Brady did. I doubt many do really.
I'd like Maye to get with the Brady plan though earlier rather than later. Get his body ready for the long run.
I agree, he is really, really good at the RPO stuff. It should come its only game 2. I think thats what people are missing. He is 5 TDs to 2 picks. Yes he could have a couple more picks, but I'd argue he should have a couple more TDs as well.I'll be honest, we're just seeing how slow he actually is now. For his rookie year though? I need Maye to run more. He needs to keep on that read option look a few times, because teams are loading up on the running back. I can only guess he's being told not to keep, which is insane because a) it's wide open, and b) his read option fake is actually excellent.
Also, you run now, and become a weapon, you can do that the first year or two (like Mahomes, for example), and the defense respects it for the next decade.
Maye is the only thing going for us.I agree, he is really, really good at the RPO stuff. It should come its only game 2. I think thats what people are missing. He is 5 TDs to 2 picks. Yes he could have a couple more picks, but I'd argue he should have a couple more TDs as well.
The fact that he is doing high level NFL QB stuff in his second game is almost unheard of. Its a very, very rare thing.
He was much, much better with the ball today, I was actually more impressed today, than I was a week ago. He's gotta throw with more power on those deep sideline throws, but I love his release. Watch him on those deep sidelines, it looks like Andrew Luck.I agree, he is really, really good at the RPO stuff. It should come its only game 2. I think thats what people are missing. Hasty showed some nice instincts today out of the backfield. So that was a thing. We saw KJ Osborn for the first time in a month.Maye is the only thing going for us.
Agreed again. I kept telling you he had something special and until he proves me wrong...He was much, much better with the ball today, I was actually more impressed today, than I was a week ago. He *needs* to run though. He's a fast kid. They *have* to show that, it will set him up for the next 10 years.
Is Mayo coaching that regime??Benching your 4-2 QB for a QB whose been washed for two years is an idea
Might be a nice week for Maye to come up with the Foxbourogh flu.Jets are going to put a whooping on NE, gonna be another ugly only at home unfortunately.
Watching MayeI loved his talent
My major concern was he likes to run and take hits
He looks like a stick figure
Once he cannot run anymore his overall talent will diminish
