While there is no week 16 game that is as intriguing as last week's Detroit-Buffalo matchup, there are still several good games to look forward to.
This week there are three national broadcasts between two teams with winning records, plus two regional telecasts between winning clubs.

The rare treat of two early games plus two late games lasted all of one week, with CBS owning the doubleheader in week 16.
That is offset by the NFL now being allowed to play two games on Saturday thanks to the completion of the college football regular season.
(I know it's tradition, but Army-Navy being the only college or pro football game available to watch on an entire Saturday is a letdown.)

Both of those Saturday games should be good: Houston at KC, and Pittsburgh at Baltimore.
In addition there are three college football playoff games on Saturday, so clear your to-do list before then.
There is also a fourth college football playoff game Friday night.

Owners of the Panthers and Bears are both saying Bah Humbug to NFL fans in their area by enforcing blackout rules. Viewers in Charlotte and Chicago will not get the option of watching another NFL game on CBS while the Panthers and Bears are being broadcast on Fox in those metro areas.

- Game of the Week: Steelers at Ravens
- Toilet Bowl: Jaguars at Raiders will go a long way to determining top-three draft order
- Biggest Mismatch (tie): Saints at Packers, Patriots at Bills

Another weekend of not needing the YouTube TV NFL ticket. Glad I spent the $.

“scare”

I'm interested in the Chargers-Broncos game tonight. Haven't seen either team this year. Curious what Bo Nix looks like.

Chargers can clinch a playoff spot with
a) a win tonight, plus
b) a Colts loss or tie to Tennessee, plus
c) a Dolphins loss or tie to San Francisco

Broncos can clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight.
Denver can lose and still clinch with three other losses (Bengals, Colts, Dolphins) this weekend.

According to Playoff Status, the Chargers will have a 97% chance of making the playoffs with a win, 75% with a loss.
Even with a loss Denver will still have an 89% chance of making the playoffs.

geez, ain't going to need Nix to do anything. Just ran right through them.

denver is just going to push it in here

almost...

and they score

Future HoFer’s record this year :
vs under .500 7-1
over .500 1-5

Par for the course. Media & fan darling, for some reason.

san diego marches right down the field... knocking on the door

ha, I like him. What don't you like about him?

True fashion, fail. Ultimate ‘looks good on paper’ team (and qb).

What is there to like ? His number of playoff wins ? Or playoff games, even ? Teams full of talent on both sides most of his years in the league.

He’s the most overrated qb since Andrew Luck. I think Luck was actually better.

Counter question : what do you like about him ? That last drive was a microcosm. Look good most of the time / don’t ever produce at the end.

I hate the “good stat / no win” QBs. What is the job ? Winning. He’s a loser. Check his TD / INT - or any stats - in playoff games. Of vs good teams.

avp should be taking notes on how to run a screen

Definitely agree about team. I thought harbaugh was gonna straighten them out, but the Chargers are cursed

the dopes run a classic Van Pelt line plunge on 3rd and 1 -- that's not on herbert.

I thought our defense was awful, then I saw the Chargers in action

The Chargers terrible roster is rearing it's ugly head.

Herbert with a horrible decision.
