You can play down Krafts impact though and people outside of New England, Pats fans and Kraft allies don't care so there won't really be any major discussion or outrage about it.

When it comes to Bill we all saw the games, the average football fan across the world even the biggest Patriot haters knows he's a no doubt hall of famer people in general don't care or get invested in owners getting awards.

He wasn't coming here for 17 million to get pummeled behind a trash line. He had 3.9 ypc behind a better line with Giants and people questioned his value.

NOW, he is going to get another good contract in a couple years. If he went to the Pats he'd have to sign for minimum after the 2 years due to the lack of production and age of a RB. He set himself up to maximize his future earnings and compete for a SB. You would have needed to set a new market and beat McCaffrey's contract to even sniff a chance of him coming to get pummeled behind this line.

Now he might be league MVP. Endorsements, playoff money etc.

Players are signing where they can maximize there earnings, not just contract and the best way to do that is go somewhere you can succeed, especially for a running back.

49ers going to be lucky to even make the playoffs, they really chalking up some stinkers this year.

This could be the year I've been waiting for since the stupid 4 team division came into being. We could see two losing teams in the playoffs from the NFCW and NFCS and two or more teams with better records and possibly wins against those teams sitting at home. If those teams sitting home are either Philly, Was, GB or Minny I'd be absolutely giddy.

It's also possible in the AFC but with only one stinker division winner from the AFCS.

The problem I have with the NYFL HOF is the same problem I have with all of them. They all have voters with a bias.
