This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
I didn't watch any NFL for a couple years during the Kaepernick ********. Maybe it's time for a hiatus watching the Pats. If the Krafts don't clean house - completely, coaching and front office - I'm going to give it serious thought. This is ********: the league, the refs, and the team.
Someone needs a come to Jesus moment with Maye. This dog isn't going to hunt in the NFL.
I don't think he will, and now I think the Pats drafted the wrong guy. Tigers don't change their stripes, and if he can't stay on the field then what good is he?
Unfortunately i think this may be true. You need to fix it with coaching. Here is how i would try to do it.
You make Maye run and scramble multiple times during practice as the play breaks down or just call for him to scramble randomly. Every time he fails to get down/out of bounds in time he runs a lap. You need to force him to scramble in practice so he can learn these habits. If all you try to teach him is not to run, and don't force it in practice then he will only do it in games and not develop good habits.
So even if there is no need to run on certain plays you need to randomly yell out for him to scramble and run. Then he needs to slide/get our of bounds or throw the ball away/to a WR before getting too close to a defender. You need to make this a part of practice even if it takes time away from throwing drills or scrimmages. It is that important. Hopefully after enough laps he'll start to protect himself by instinct.
You do this in spring, pre season, regular season practices even in games. He fails to slide in time and takes a hit in the game. Once the drive is over he runs a damn lap in front of the whole stadium and a national audience. I don't care.
I’ll always remember the old garden chanting Larry Larry when he returned. Then he kicked some ass in the second half and sent that smug demon chuck pierce home.
