It's on the spot situational stuff.

I'm sure once the game is over he can figure out what worked, and what did not.

But he just doesn't seem to be quick enough in the situation.

For example why didn't he call timeouts on defense to give Maye more time?
This is the kind of thing im referring to

The offense had one good drive. Let's not pretend they didn't go in the redzone like half a dozen times and get stopped.
I thought both TD drives were good. I also think 3 other drives of 60+ yards is good too.

We also need o give Maye some grief. He threw an awful INT when the were in scoring position. He is throwing at least one pick a game and that is an unsettling trend. I am willing to give him a break because of the overall talent around him but that one was on him. He needs to break this trend .

Just seen Richardson L dance after he scored, ouch.

I hope Thunder gives the keys to Jonathan, then maybe he can clean house and then Kraft uses the Mayo method to excuse saying he didn't have a say.
Possible, I suppose.

Supposedly Jonathan didn’t agree with the Mayo hire.

Big picture, another good loss. The season is toast and really it is just about experience for both players and coaches. Pats had fight and were right there but this doesn’t hurt the upcoming draft. It’s tough but long-term most likely good.

I would have liked to see Mayo challenge that questionable catch on 3rd down during the Dolt’s final drive. Why not?
One more win last season and we don’t have Maye.

Henry himself said he should have caught the ball

Henry himself said he should have caught the ball
He should have caught it, but if you watch it again, he threw it well behind where Henry was. It would have been a very difficult catch, sliding on the ground, going the opposite way. Not a great throw, Henry probably still should have come up with it.

I don't know what happened to Digger this season. He was one of the brightest spots in our defense.
He has been the most overrated Patriots player as of recent. His lack of coverage skills has been badly exposed since he had his snaps increased due to McCourty and Phillips leaving. In fact, he didn't command any demand on the transition tag while teams signed better S's in FA. Pats doubled down and gave him that idiotic deal. The good news is, it's not going to cripple the cap and they can cut him loose in two years. As Breer discussed this week, the Pats have to let Bill's guys go because this coaching staff doesn't know how to use the tweeners such as Dugger, Peppers, Mapu, Tavai, etc.
Rham is terrible. I said it. Totally lopsided stats - 18car for 73yds.
But, 39yds on that 1 fluke on first drive.
So, he's really 17car for 34yds - 2yds/rush is not acceptable.

Gibson has so much more - 7car for 62yds - almost 9yds/rush
Horrible OLine is one thing but Rham's indecisiveness is another thing. He has no explosiveness.
No vision
He models his game after Le'Veon Bell, but I don't see it. The only player that comes close to Bell was the real OG in Laurence Maroney who started that **** first dancing at the LOS. It eventually ruined Bell's career as his style doesn't translate unless grand canyon size holes are created.
Do you think Kraft has it in him to fire his hand-picked HC after 1 year? What worries me is krafts statement that he’s proud to only have 3 HCs in his tenure. He admires the Steelers way to doing things.
If they lose out, I think there's a good chance. The media is getting too loud and Bob doesn't like looking bad. There's even a better chance next season if BB returns with Mike Vrabel and the rest of the band such as Steve, McDaniels, Patricia, Judge, BOB and goes to a team with talent.

r
I listen to mayo when he would break down the pats games with curran, he seemed like a smart guy who had learned a lot after being a player under BB and then on BBs staff. But at this point it looks like mayo never absorbed basic coaching knowledge in all that time
playing the game and coaching and designing game plans are completely different.

My respect for him has gone up,
He needs to take over the team.
Maybe the plan was Kraft gets the hall nod and passes the team to Jonathan.

Are you saying Bill comes back here?
At this point I’d do after Mcvay even using our second or first round pick to pry him.
Or I’m not kidding Kliff Kingsbury, Josh McDaniels, Brian Flores, Mike Vrabel.

First time head coaches Ben Johnson and Kellen Moore are attractive but scary.

No, Bill is never coming back to NE. Bill and his homies are going to a team that has talent and could be a contender.

I see more Benjarvis Green Ellis, but I can see Maroney when it comes to the runs into the defense he needs 3 yards cleared in front of him or he’s running for 1 yard or a loss.

Mayo should be auditioning for his Job the rest of this year.
And should be in a very serious drill section in the bye week.

I've never seen a RB purposely run into piles more than Maroney.

We should let Maye in interviews for the HC position and see if AVP can stay as QB coach.
