Interesting statement. The dates you mentioned, I have all of them bring historically awful patriots draft except one, which I list as ‘below average’ but not bad. What are your “two very good” drafts?

23 and 20 are good. A good team finds 3 starters per draft. 21 and 22 were bad, even though we found Barmore and Rham in 2021.

Dugger, Anfernee and Onwenu is a decent draft.

A top guy in FA or the draft at all four defensive levels would be great. DT, LB, CB, and FS.

They are a team that has learned how to lose (players and coaches)
That is why I root to win every week

The interception was catchable imo. A good player needs to make that play. Also, what's with taking the ball out of Maye's hands? Stop running it. Go to your best weapon on offense. If he throws a pick...so fing what. Team has three wins.

Bill the head coach absolutely could/can still bring the heat. The way Mac played last year, no coach could have succeeded. I would have been thrilled jf Bill had returned as head coach but without final say on personnel matters. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that Mayo and Covington forget to do film study every week, although the fact that they are they are doing theirvbest to take away the other team’s strengths shows how out-of-their-depth they both are.

Many of the failings have nothing to do with the talent of the players. A lot of it is fundamentals, communication, being "on the same page," tackling, running the right route, and so on. All of these things can be taught by coaches, or encouraged or made the standard by the culture installed by the coaches.

We have the wrong coaches. (and GM) We need better players, but we also need a GM who can pick them and coaches who can train them.

All 3 are constantly abused in the passing game. That's what worries me.

We won’t be good until we have a better coach. I’ve been talking to a few fans where I work and most aren’t too impressed with Mayo.

Even though it may not be considered a need this is a great year to add a mid round rb. One of the deepest classes we’ve seen in a while.
