No guarantee that they will play well for us because they did well prior to come to NE. Clearly forcing a guy into a system rather than using his skill set. Yesterday clearly showed that. Exhibit A: Jonnu Smith:

That shows it was the system and not the Player...the BB Coaching Tree is dead.

Here's an idea Mayo...
Play the guys who fight the hardest - on every play. And bench guys for stupid mistakes.
Schooler over Dugger.
Gibson over Rham
Anyone over Lowe & Jacobs

Is Jonnu succeeding because of the scheme or because Hill and Waddle are drawing so much attention that it leaves him open?
Mike McDaniel sophisticated Scheme that don't have Players run into each other on every other play says hello arch.

They are playing because he has nobody else behind them. The fault of the Amateur GM.

I like Schooler but there's a reason he's mostly a ST player.

They were Quality Tackes available at the Deadline: but Wolf thinks it was better to hold onto Draft Picks that he will eventually screw up. The Inmates are running the asylum. IF Maye ever gets injured behind this OL: I hope Elliott Wolf get's everything that's coming to him.

Well, when the nation gets around to abandoning entirely this approach, which ultimately cripples those whom its advocates condescending claim to be "helping," we can all direct our attention to other problems. Thankfully, we have made good progress in this direction of late.

Up with merit. Down with racism.

Him being a POC isn't going to protect him from being fired. I refuse to believe it.

I'm sure that has something to do withyesterday although we didn't control any of them. But look at his last year in Tennessee and his one year in Atlanta. His production on 3 other teams was better, why is that?

How much draft capital do you want him to give up? Teams that buy at the deadline are potential contenders looking to get over the hump. The Pats weren't that. The draft picks are more valuable than a player they're only going to rent for a year or two.

So you call that below a success?? You're losing me arch.

2024 Draft Picks
  • 1 (3): QB Drake Maye, North Carolina.
  • 2 (37): WR Ja'Lynn Polk, Washington.
  • 3 (68): OT Caedan Wallace, Penn State.
  • 4 (103): G Layden Robinson, Texas A&M.
  • 4 (110): WR Javon Baker, UCF.
  • 6 (180): CB Marcellas Dial, South Carolina.
  • 6 (193): QB Joe Milton III, Tennessee.
  • 7 (231): TE Jaheim Bell, Florida State.

I thought that we needed at least two seasons to determine if a draft class was a success. Now were calling busts after 12 games in Year 1?

So you can live with the likes of Pop Douglas - V Lowe - and D Jacobs as long as they are healthy?? Ask Drake Maye how he feels about them.
You are making two different arguments, I’m saying the solution should be different than desperately chasing hobbled guys

@archstanton543 believes that Mayo ethnicity will prevent him from losing his job.

Odd
Bob's got Timeout To End Hate PSA's that will be airing next season during games. It's bad optics to fire your POC coach and pushing that message.

The players laughing and smiling shouldn’t be back next season
Ummmm what?? It is possible to laugh despite having a bad day at work. I have seen it happen. Because they are pro athletes lets not pretend they aren't guys going to work for a lot more money.

Oh you can't tell?? Where have you been the last 24 years?? The jury has already came in on Polk - Wallace and Robinson they are not good players. More like Overdrafted because Wolf panicked on the Run on WR and Offensive Tackle. They are all Reaches who will Bust!

We have no choice but the latter now.
