It's on both. Maye needed to know not to throw backwards and to know that Stevenson wasn't ready for a pass and had a defender right there. Stevenson needed to catch it once it got to him. Bad decision to pass and bad execution by Stevenson. Play was completely blown up even if he caught it.

His decision making at times worries me, while he does look a very good prospect it remains to be seen if he could be elite. Decisions can improve with experience of course.
