I'm convinced at this point that the referees are on the take. This is about the 3rd game this year where they've ignored obvious calls against the Pats' opponent and called ticky tack calls on them. No helmet to helmet? No problem. We'll just let that slide. But a ticky tack hold? Throw that flag!
To get better calls you need to have a reputation of eviscerating them on the sideline when they make garbage calls, citing the rule book if necessary. Like BB used to do. Mayo just stares into the stands for most of the game.
