It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I'm seeing him pretty consistently mocked in the top 15 now.BGC, I see a lot of Zach Wilson in McCarthy. Has a great arm, can beat you with his legs. Can make all the throws. I think Zach Wilson was the better college QB, he didn’t have the talent McCarthy had around him (Puca Nacua was a freshman I believe).
That being said, I think McCarthy was definitely more clutch than Wilson his last year in college. I had no confidence in him vs Alabama, when they were down late and had to come back to tie the game to go to OT. He proved me wrong. And he was good in the championship game when he needed to be, was clutch when the time came, though the run game and defense won the game for Michigan.
McCarthy had some things I really like. He’s very young, so he’s far from a finished product (can sit for a year). And I think he’s mentally tough. And the aforementioned physical skills.
If the Pats went with Harrison Jr. at #3, I would love to get McCarthy at #34, though I doubt he’d be available at #34, the Pats would have to trade up to get him.
This draft is so deep at receiver..I’d love Pearsall and McConkey and a FA/trade like Pittman, Ridley, Aiyuk or Lockett.
I think it's a part of the puzzle. Guys who know how to win and what it takes to be at that level in my mind would have an advantage if everything else was equal. So does Tim Tebow. Don’t mean squat.
Half this board was clamoring for Penix a month ago calling him the best afternthe the Texas game and then Michigan happened.
Let the process play out. Long way to go.
Good Day Cousins. I see a third round pick for this kid from Everett. Played WR and nickle back for Michigan. I see him as a free Saftey here. About McCourty's size.

I think that 5 is the limit if you want to guarantee one of the top 4 QB's. The Giants at 6 seems tempting but is a very dangerous choice. With trades, the first 5 could easily include the first 4 QB's.Then make a small trade down and still get your QB.
At the very least a trade to #4 with Arizona so that they can take MJH should be a no-brainer.
Then, depending on who you are targeting, maybe another trade down to #6 with the Giants if Maye and McCarthy are still there.
Of course, if you rate both Maye and McCarthy about the same it may be better to pick at #4, since the Giants would go QB and another team may try to move to #5 and scoop you for the other.
If you can pick up a high pick (a #2) and still get Maye or McCarthy from your #3 overall, that is a win.
