JJ is Mac!
Very limited physical traits, benefited from a vastly superior team around him, including amazing run game and OL.
I also don't like the "aw shucks" (overly fake gleeful everything is grand) personality that Mac and JJ share.

No Way!
No one has ever said he has limited physical traits?
Rocket arm will runs. 4-4 or a 4-5 and very tough and coachablle.
Have we seen plays where Mac runs a defender over?
That’s what JJ has done.

I hope so..Could be a smokescreen though..

What are the chances that the Pats could go to Brady’s Alma mater Michigan, to find the replacement for the GOAT, and he ends up picking up where TFB left off.

Too improbable.

Right?
I have a face and body for radio
I ended up with a beautiful wife
Which I thought was improbable

So nothings improbable lol

Oh man, I hope this happens, but I doubt it.
If it does and Drake Maye turns out to be another Sam Darnold, Mark Sanchez, Zach Wilson while MHJ becomes the best WR since Moss will you still feel that way?

If Daniels is there at #3 I hope we can trade down for more assets.

At least to #4.

As much as I like MJH or Alt, I would not want to draft them at #3.

That wouldn’t be maximizing the pick.
#4 is right if we want Daniels. A bit lower is right if we want Nix.

Zappe is:

- cheap
- continuously improving
- drives a lot of people on this forum insane in hilarious ways with his mere presence
Zappe is a fine choice if we are looking to draft at 1-3 next year.

Taking the QB that is left at #3, the most important position in team sports is worth the risk. Only possible exception is if we can make a trade and still have a pick in the top #8 as then the offensive talent would drop off but would have to be a heck of a lot of draft capital in return besides a top 8 pick.

Well, since in this scenario we had no chance at MHJ because he went 2nd, I'll probably feel about him the same way I feel about other draft picks that the Patriots didn't get a shot at.

Ryland had to make that fricking kick that nobody in the stadium believed he would make.

If I’m not 100 percent sure I’m drafting the next Allen or Jackson’s I’m trading down to say 10 or so to take JJ and use the extra picks for OL or WR

It would be so much fun to have a QB with the ability to take off for fifty yards on 3rd and long. I would have a hard time waiting until the night to watch the game.
Sure, for six games until he gets killed.

More important is that McCarthy has a ++ arm and Mac has a - arm.

I remember Steve Grogan went up the middle one game against the Rats for a TD.

How long before he became strictly a pocket passer?

Carolina would be drafting #1 overall again if they didn’t sell the farm to get what looks like a lousy QB
