I have no idea how you could believe this.. the NFL is currently embroiled in a lawsuit. No owner is going to do anything to further open up the league to these issues that literally threaten their anti-trust exemption. Regardless of their plans with Mayo.. they weren't going to suggest he lose the game in any tangible way, shape or form.
