Who does this?? Sign a free agent RT and move him to LT and draft a guy who only played RT and think that is a great plan to fill the huge void they have at LT?

Not many true LTs which is why they go high and cost a lot. Trying to find talent where you can....most don't work but there were quite a few who thought a 7th round QB playing WR was a dumb idea.

2006 was a horrible draft. Hopefully we got at least 2/3 of the picks right this time around. Drake Maye is really the biggest key to this draft being a success.

He said because Olu played LT at Penn State Wallace played the right but has the Athleticism to play the Left side.
So I think they plan on playing him on the Left side

My point is you don't have a guy run your draft if you're going to hire someone else. There might have been a point early in the off-season where Kraft hadn't decided based on that war room it looks like it's a formality now.

I agree with you, I’m personally not sure he actually deserves it but like you said it’ll be his job.

How do you know? Other teams have move up in all rounds. Pats can’t for some reason when others can?

Michael Onwenu is a Guard but played outside and got payed like a RT.
In my opinion he is a better guard than tackle
Plus we need depth at the tackle positions with starter potential.
He got drafted in the 3rd round.
Not like he is a sure fire starter

OK I see. It is a pick swap but we DO now have TWO 4th round picks. So i guess that's still pretty decent and gives us some options in Day 3.

But the average of mock drafts had him at 178: 2024 Consensus Big Board | NFL Mock Draft Database

Thank you, Good info ….. 5 rounds 32 picks is 160 + the 17 comp picks in the first 5 rounds makes 177 picks in the first 5 rounds

178 is the start of the 6th round this year
