I hope Kraft was watching today and saw what a real NFL offense looks like in today's NFL. Tua on his own is nothing special. Tua with all those fast players at skill positions is an MVP candidate. No matter who the QB is going forward unless they are lucky enough to draft another true HOFer, that is the way you have to build your team. Arguably the three best teams in the NFL have QBs who aren't elite or anywhere near elite, but have elite offenses because of who is around them - Miami, Philly, and San Fran.
Exactly. And what has happened to SF now that they lost players? Three losses in a row.

Luckily, the Pats don't have talent so they can lose just about anyone on offense and not skip a beat.

Giants ran three times and didn’t pick up the first down, then the kicker missed a short FG, Wilson completed a couple long passes and kicked a FG. Looks like Barkley could’ve picked up a first but elected to slide down.
Daboll must have taught Barkley that after he learned it from Bill.

They still have Ayuik, Kittle, McCaffrey and Purdy. Main reason why they lost yesterday is the two INTs Purdy threw. You can't have a QB throwing INTs and expect to win many games.

The Pats will go as their QB goes, just like any team in the league -

Yeah, the last two weeks, Purdy has made very costly and stupid INTs that helped to cost the 49ers the game. Yesterday, he did it on two consecutive passes. He had two costly INTs last week. In fact, he has had 5 INTs on the season and they came in the last three games where Deebo Samuel has been out and McCaffrey has been injured.

The NFL today is simple, you need at least one of the two - an elite QB or surround your mediocre or average QB with top talent. The Dolphins, Eagles, and 49ers do the latter and have been successful at it. But once you lose that talent, those QBs turn back into pumpkins.

It's the talent. I was in denial for a long time thinking the same as you have. But it's talent be it at QB or WR. Tua is putting up numbers because of who he has around him he's not a ALL PRO on his own just like Mac isn't. I'm just curious to see if the team decided to put some real pieces around Mac what would he be.

I look at that Hurts was almost traded prior to getting AJ.
Tua was benched for Fitzpatrick for his play prior to getting his guys.

Look at what burrow was able to do to the 49ers yesterday with his guys he has.

We are devoid of talent at QB and WR
Mac will Float his hospital balls and get our WR's killed move on from Him we have seen enough and it's not by choice.

The Pats converted 1 out of 9 - 3rd downs and Miami had the ball for approximately 12 more minutes.

Agreed.. I was just saying I'm curious if the team decided to have an epiphany and spend to aquire talent. I don't think they will... JC JAGson should sue Mac for using his likeness as he is the Mr. INT.

You can blame Mac for a lot of things, but he wasn't responsible for getting either Parker or Bourne injured. neither were hospital balls especially Bourne's. Bourne was coming back for the ball.

And if Parker's ball was a hospital ball, virtually any pass is a hospital ball. It wasn't a floater. It was a short throw with decent velocity. And he didn't throw to Parker in stride where he had to take his eyes of his route to catch the ball while a defender was racing towards him traveling in the opposite direction. Parker sat on his route to catch the ball and the defender was there in coverage like it would be in most plays. It was just a helmet to helmet hit.

For those of you complaining about the Pats D, try watching the Broncos...
They held KC down but I see your point.

And that brings up a question. Which is worse, Denver's D or NE's O?

IF I'm Tyquan I am faking an injury I would not want to play with Balloon hospital boy.

The Pats are exactly what a majority of this board said they'd be this year. An above average defense with a below average offense. We just weren't ready for just how far below average the offense would be.
The issue is you also have to throw in

-the special teams has not been good either.
-the offensive line is a league worst unit right now.
-the running game that was supposed to be the bread and butter of the offense has been pedestrian.

-the defense is not all that good. Injuries are a big factor. They are 25th in INT's. 22nd in passing yards. 13th in rushing yards. And 26th in ppg.

The defense isn't even above average. They are realistically way below average in outright production and if you give them every benefit of the doubt maybe you can say they are average at best with everything else going against them. But as we saw even yesterday, they get completely blown up in big plays when top receivers can exploit them. Run stopping is the only thing they aren't objectively terrible in and even that is still a middle of the pack thing.

We knew our offense was bad but we didn't know our offensive line would be outright historically bad and our running backs would be a bottom 10 rushing unit. And then special teams is it's own little hell

Yawn, if you actually want to talk football get back to me. But after the Pape/Kontra thing, I have no time for this childish BS. Grow up and get back to me when you actually want to talk football.

When I heard that Belichick complained about a "damgerous" play that should've been flagged, I was very surprised when I found out it was a trip I didn't even see happen live.

I spoke too soon. Donks had their best defensive effort of the season. 4 turnovers and 1 more on special teams. They dominated the game.

Bill Belichick is now 27-32 since he jettisoned Tom Brady from Route One in Foxboro. For those keeping track....yup, greatest coach of all time
The worst thing is that he's had mostly losing seasons but not bad enough to appease the Tankheads.

Unlcle Rob we NEED any QB not named Mac Jones.
