No guarantees with the next guy either. For all we know maybe it will be a 20 year drought like the Bills had cause that’s how long it took them to find their guy. QB purgatory sucks.

Even with "their guy," the Bills haven't exactly been a wagon.

There's no guarantee a top-drafted QB will succeed -- just ask the Jete. It's a crapshoot, which is why talk of "tanking" for this or that guy is pointless. You try to win no matter what and then play the hand you're dealt.

The Pat's were able to beat the Bills because Buffalo was decimated by injuries. That's why there was no pass rush or stupid INTs.

Corky Mac is who we thought he was.

If Corky starts vs Washington the tank job is on.

Please, just STFU for a change. Did you do your chores today?

Although the Bills had a ton of JAGS out there on defense, their offense had no excuses against a banged up Pats defense.

Kraft’s best move to salvage this season is to fire Mac Jones and then tweet the footage with a three camera shot of security tossing him out of the building in the rain, in whatever way necessary to cause all of his pitifully-cradled belongings to scatter across the wet pavement and roll slowly away.

He needs to get a closeup when he reaches skyward from a puddle and pathetically groans for help completely drenched, only to realize nobody’s there.

Nobody except Sauce Gardner.

Honestly best case scenario at this point.

Yes, but BB is the master of depth.

Defense for sure.

If Mac starts, they're trying to win, tanking would be putting Zappe or one of the other guys in and trading some of the better players on the team this week.

I remember watching Manziel clips and seeing him scramble, throw an Eli Manning bomb down the field to a wide open receiver who still had to jump 3 feet straight up into the air, with arms fully extended, just hanging there suspended in the air for seconds, in order to grab it.

Like really, who TF at Cleveland thought that was gonna’ work? I just don’t think drafting a QB in a 3 year window is as difficult as ****-teams make it out to be. You might have to go best player on the board for a draft or two but if you can’t get anyone adequate over a window of time you’re probably just ******ed.
Did you watch the Netflix documentary on Manziel? It was pretty good and explains why he dropped in the draft.

It didn’t work today though. That was a game Buffalo shouldn’t lose if they want to be back in the conversation with KC and Cincy.

lol wtf.
I don’t wish him ill will just wish for a franchise QB.
I’m tired of the oh he did one thing good maybe we can build off off that.
No this is done, experiment is done.
When Adam Archuletta can see the WRs open in real time and Mac can’t the book needs to be closed.
He has as many bad passes as he has good ones.

So many NE WRs were open today for big gains, 1st downs or flat out TDs and never got the ball.

Corky hones in on Henry and Bourne too much. He hung Carter out to dry.

I hate talking about the refs, but damn....

There were some upsides that we can hopefully carry into next year, while of course, eschewing some elements that are...holding the team back.

Bill still winless vs. the gender ambiguous coach/left-handed QB combo.

And @Kontradiction banned. Another great day, things just keep getting better here. /s

Longtime members are dropping like flies lately...what the hell happened??

What’s ironic is that the last two bans had nothing to do with arguing over the Pats.

Aside from complaining about the record, there's precious little to chew on with this year's Pats, so I guess that checks.

Nice post. One bottom line qualifier is that all teams have injuries. The OL injuries for the Pats exposed the fact that the QB and WR are not mentally tough enough, or talented enough to overcome the adversity and stay competitive while things worked themselves out.
I'd put Gonzales, Ekuale and Judon under the category of regretible normal injuries. Losing your entire OL is above and beyond.
