I wasn’t going to be too hard on Mac through most of the game yesterday. Every QB has games where they stare their guys down and good defenses make them pay for it. We see it weekly. Then, I saw him smiling on the sideline after getting chewed out and pulled. What the **** is there to smile about? It’s funny that we’re losing by 35 and you’re getting pulled for Zappe? I remember Brady getting pulled against the Saints in 2009 and the Chargers in 2005. He wasn’t laughing. He looked like he wanted to kill someone.
Definitely a very bad look. I remember getting into it with teammates back in my younger days when they didn't take losing seriously, and we weren't playing for a living.

The other thing that bothered me was ****-talking. It's one thing when Larry Bird does it to get into your head because he could back it up. But I have no use for players that yell stupid **** to another team and get them all fired up. I've been on both sides of that one. Let a sleeping dog lie was one of my favorite old sayings.

That play had me up off my chair, yelling and laughing so hard that I woke up the wife on the couch. It's those type of plays that represent the best part of the game and it's enjoyable to see that kind of athlete on athlete crime when your team isn't the victim.

Me, too, my friend. My absolute favorite plays for sure.

Might I interest you in some therapy that always manages to put a smile on my face in times like this:

God I loved 2015 Dion.

EDIT: just rewatched again and GOD I LOVE THAT DALLAS PLAY HOLYSHIT IT'S SO AWESOME (the 3:03 minute highlight)

Apart from all the fire bill and dump mac and lack of weapons stuff which is being talked about infinitely, the biggest issue for me is that they have regressed so bad in the running game. They really need to get back get their two best backs the focal point of the offense. We ran better last yr with patricia than we have this yr. Some of it is oline but there has been no consistency with applying the running.
They really need to get back to running the football and make the teams defend something. now no one is worried about run or pass.

I mentioned the smiling in the game thread, made my freaking blood boil

Bill will walk away if he is stripped of his GM responsibilities. And perhaps he should walk at this point.

It would be a pity if he didn't break the hated Shula's record here... However, the future of the franchise is at stake; anyone else with Bill's drafting record since 2017 would've been fired already.

Trade for Kyler.

The results wouldn’t necessarily be better but at the very least it would be exciting

Or for Justin Fields straight-up? The money exchanged would be practically identical.

This game pissed me off and not just because I lost a couple grand. I swear thiis team just doesn't one thing that gives me hope on offense. All the stuff that we were complaining about reared it's ugly head. No way making excuses for Mac but the Oline and WRs were right there f*cking things up.

We need to get GM duties away from Bill before he drafts more defensive players next year. Time to tank for Caleb and hell hire Lincoln Riley if Bill doesn't go with the plan. Atleast it will be fun watching the offense again.

I was thinking of you and your pre-game wager while the blowout was in full swing... Sorry I didn't warn you, especially in light of Corky's record vs the spread as an underdog in his last Eleven games...

How he's handled the roster since 2018 has been one mistake after another.

Drafting Harry, replacing Gronk with Ben Watson, pushing Brady out the door, replacing Brady with Cam Newton. Then letting mcdaniels go and replacing him with Patricia. Then ignoring the offense all these years.

Still waiting for someone to show me a team that's lost 5 of their top 7 CBs and been successful.

Claims that the Pats have ignored the offense in terms of the draft are complete garbage. Shows that you don't actually pay attention. the bigger problem is that they haven't hit on the guys they've selected.

Harry (1st). Strong (3rd). Harris (6th). Stueber (7th). Hines (6th). Keene (3rd). Asiasi (3rd). Wynn (1st)

Strange and Thornton being injured as much as they have been hasn't helped.

But the Pats have put a LOT of draft Capital into the offense going back to 2018. By my count, it's 30 draft picks, including 4 QBs, 4 RBs, and 6 WR.

…and don’t forget to DONATE.

Maybe it’s time to start paying for offense in free agency, cause they can’t draft offense to save their lives.

Anyone on this board could’ve drafted better than Bill since 2017. That’s a problem.

Not ONE Pro Bowl/All Pro Player drafted on offense since 2010 or defense since 2013.
