Not since sitting in Harvard Stadium as a season ticket holder in 1970 have I been so disappointed in a Patriots game. I’m sure I’ve seen some worse at Schaefer Stadium but at least the tailgating was a LOT better so I don’t recall…..

Jimmy Johnson just said Mac isn’t the guy. He’s a good friend of Belichick’s.
And shifted blame on the personnel decisions when someone brought up BB the GM, saying there are a lot of people making decisions there.

what are the chances Tom Curren will say the weapons around Mac are the problem ?

Why so confident? Something is very wrong with this team. The injuries to the secondary is not going to help.
On the Zappe discussion, I have always felt he was not given a fair shake at training camp. It affected him. He was put out there with player who are not in the league to prove himself. Watching Mac play QB looks just painful.
because i think we are better than both those teams

When you're down to your 4th and 6th string CBs being your primary CBs, that will happen. To any team..

It doesn't explain O'Brien, MAC and the Offense s**tting the bed, but it definitely explains the defense.

Mac's Passes were late all game. That led to one of the Ints. The Pats not using Bourne opposite Parker is a mistake. It didn't make sense when the Pats were down 28-3 to be running the f'in ball. That's on O'Brien. And it didn't do the offense any favors.

One of the biggest issues I've seen this year is that Mac isn't hitting his receivers in stride. They're being forced to stop to make the catch or twist in a way that it forces them to slow down. So, at best, they make the catch and get stopped.
Mac was problem 1A absolutely. The defense was mediocre but sure losing Gonzo hurt. Competent QB and coaching and we don’t get embarrassed at least.

That is the biggest crock of S**T I've ever heard. Unless you've only been paying attention for the last 5 years Seriously. There have been SO MANY Quarterbacks WORSE than Jones it's pathetic.

None of them have had the GOAT HC helping them.

Cassell look great with Belichick. Garapolo got that huge contract because of how he looked in a Belichick coached team.

Mac is a mental midget with arm talent post injury Pennington.

This is probably the worst I've ever seen the team look in my lifetime.

Yes there are injuries, but all through the dynasty one of the key factors that made things work was Depth.

The fact that the team is thin at literally every position says so much about the last 5+ years worth of personal decisions.

Mac's rookie season bill brought in and spent on a giant pile of trash. The only player worth keeping is judon.

Overall just really depressed regarding the outlook of this team.

Just like last year the Pats having to use 5 RTs, I don't remember any team having to rely on their 4th and 6th string CBs starting and succeeding. If you know of one, please I'd love to hear it.

Hunter Henry has been worth his paycheck. So has Godchaux.

The guy that assembled a coaching staff to nurture Brady's talents is GONE, man. Skills and talents the man once had have eroded. Coaches don't always stay on top of things or maintain the same level over their careers.

It's over.

The whole operation is going nowhere and needs blown up, Mac Jones will never be a legitimate NFL quarterback and anyone who still believes in him are just too stubborn to admit they were wrong.

Besides Zach Wilson, Mac is the worst QB I've ever seen play in the NFL.

If another team trotted out someone like Mac at QB, we would all universally laugh at that team.

That is the biggest crock of S**T I've ever heard. Unless you've only been paying attention for the last 5 years Seriously. There have been SO MANY Quarterbacks WORSE than Jones it's pathetic.

That’s obviously incorrect. We replaced him after halftime. Zappe isn’t an elite QB. Mac is booty cheeks. Soft. He’s not the future.

And I have to admit. Zappe light it up. Almost brought the team back. Just missed out.

Whether or not Mac is the future, this team is going nowhere how it is constructed. There is only a small handful of QB in the league who could make this team a real playoff contender who could win a game or two in the playoffs.

I have said I don’t know what Mac really is and he isn’t given a chance to show what he is. If he is what he is today or remotely close to it going forward, we don’t need the talent to see that he isn’t good.

But if he is as bad as you say he is, it is even more on Belichick for not getting him top talent around him. If Belichick knew he was going into the season with a horrible QB, he needed to surround him with a great line and top receiver or two to hide how bad he is. You don’t go into the season with mediocre talent around a horrible QB unless you dont care about winning and looking for a high draft pick to draft a new QB.

Looking like

he doesn’t have the ability to feel the blitz he is anti clutch he folds in the biggest moments.

Awful game. At least the defense showed some heart. The worst part really was losing judon and Gonzalez for multiple weeks.

Dust off and move on to New Orleans. Winnable game
