And I stand by what I've said earlier... I STILL DON'T KNOW what Mac is as a QB. I haven't seen ANY evidence that he has been given any tools for success. Coaching? Hardly. Blocking? Pfft. Receivers? HAH!

The sad thing is we’ll go d-line or safety or guard in the top 3-4 rounds of the draft next year. We need skill position talent and not just 1 player. We need to revamp the whole O.

The game finally came on for me as the Pats were tying it up 3-3, then went down 10-3, and I thought "damn, this will be tough, but this is doable..."

Fast forward 2.5 hours and I found out I had a double-aged Woodford Reserve on the top shelf, so I wasn't out of bourbon after all!

Not a bad day...
Have you tried Midletons?

I just completely lost any faith I have in Mac Jones today. Every mistake, every **** up was on Mac. It wasn’t his receivers, it wasn’t the offensive line. All the bad plays were pure stupidity of his making.

Belichick is the problem right now.

His roster building has sucked for over 5 years. Even before the end of the Brady era his drafts sucked. His coaching staff decisions have been questionable at best. And this year he doesn't even have a well coached team, which was sort of the one thing you could always give him. They are beating themselves with mistakes.

If he was anybody else, he'd be coaching for his job.
They were beating themselves with mistakes last year and the same mistakes are happening again this year. It is very concerning that the current team isn't improving.

In my opinion, Jones should not have been starting from the get go. Zappe has always been the better quarterback. The problem is that we are now 1-3 with one foot in the grave so it's going to be that much more difficult to turn things around.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel on the season or Bill yet, but I'm close. He's just about out of chances and next week is a very big week for him. He loses next week, or even the next 2 weeks, this is going to get VERY ugly and I doubt he survives the year.

The Steelers haven't had a sub .500 season since 2003.
i know but i believe the question was what other team could have a stretch like this and not fire the hc. my response was pitt. they've had only 3 hc since like 1969. pretty sure they've weathered bad stretches.

Yuk!! feel bad for the really die hard fans here

Unfortunately some posters here deserve this. A couple in particular who were posting the same stuff today over the last 10 years or so when the team was winning

To those posters I hope this team and the losses cause you incredible pain because YOU deserve it for being such ****s over the last 10 to 15 years
This place is ****ing losing it lol

Or smoke some

Dunno...feel like you're rolling the dice introducing a potentially paranoia-inducing substance into a member of this fanbase....me included

You replace him unless you get an elite QB, you aren’t turning this team into a contender.

The Patriots need an overhaul and brought into the 2020s. The top team have talent on offense no matter the quality of the QB. The Dolphins. The Eagles. The 49ers. Until the Pats build their team recognizing that, it doesn’t matter they have at QB unless they luck out and get another Brady or Mahomes.
That’s obviously incorrect. We replaced him after halftime. Zappe isn’t an elite QB. Mac is booty cheeks. Soft. He’s not the future.

This whole offense needs to be thrown away. B.B. needs to go solely off of the fact he picked this whole team, decided who should get paid and who shouldn't

It's not just the QB "I hate Mac Jones " fan club..I know you guys really can't see past anything other than the QB position, but there are plenty of other parts to this football team that don't help that never helped.

If zappe was the better QB ANY team in the NFL would have claimed him off waivers when the patriots cut him.
