Game Day Thread 2023 WEEK 4 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: NE @ DAL

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Really losing badly at the LOS. When that is happening, there's nothing anyone can do, not Mac, not BOB, not BB.

It's amazing how often a hold call on a run is always the reason for the big run

Is wanting a total teardown unreasonable?

It’s been the same stale problems since 2018. (even though we won the SB, the early signs were starting to become visible)

We’re going on 5 years now of pretty dysfunctional offenses. Something has to change here, because this formula doesn’t seem like it has the ingredients to work.

I want a new coaching staff and a new QB. I want an offense that plays like it’s 2023, not 1993. Sick of watching innovation everywhere else offensively in this league. We remain anemic.
It's the only way, this team is treading water

Where is Tommy Hudson these days Hugh Millen anybody??

Kendrick Bourne saved that play. That was a dumb throw though.

I think it is. He had a great run and helped us get six rings, but I don’t think he can turn this ship around.
The crappy think is that he’s still a good coach, but he’s never going to tolerate losing GM duties and roster control. Which at this point is unsustainable

They should send the GM to the blue tent.

I’d rather open-mouth kiss Lizzo in prime time on national TV than watch a Mills-Bryant-Wade DB corps.

Do like I do. Play Yakety Sax for ambience and pour two fingers of bourbon. It'll be better. Promise.

Can't include 2018 in this lol. They weren't flawless or a juggernaut for a Super Bowl team, but they were very very good.

If we had Mahomes we would probably be 2-2 at worst or 3-1. Offense isn’t good but Mahomes is just that much better than Mac. We would probably be 2-1 right now with Brady.
Mahomes with this OL and talent at WR….he might have another win so far….I get the point somewhat….Brady could make chicken salad out of chicken ****…and I’m sure Mahomes could as well….but we have a ton of chicken **** on O with line and WR talent this year

Why even play Parsons? Dumb sh*t

Free Kendrick Bourne! What a play for the 1st down.

The BB Patriots minus Tom Brady can only beat Teams with Back up QB's. I see a disturbing trend.

The biggest problem right now is Belichick built this team to win close games with ball control and lower scores. The problem is the NFL is built for high scoring. Most teams can dig a hole and score quickly to get back in quickly. The Pats are not built it that way. There are no game breakers on this team.

This dude will blame everyone but the terrible QB we have hahahaha

He’s a good coach but it can also be true that he just doesn’t have it in him anymore to turn it around. His culture might be at an end

Purdy is surrounded by weapons

Mahomes would struggle with this offense
This. Not saying Purdy isn’t better, but he’s not playing amazing and turning this team around. Mahomes would legit have his worst season in his career on this team
