just beat the Chiefs next week and lose the rest of the way and I'll call this crap season a success!
Nah. If they beat the chiefs I want them to win out and make the playoffs

By the Patriots standards this year 21 points in one half is explosive.

Bailey Zappe looked good early and he made the most of his 2nd start.

Yes this game went down to the wire but the Steelers made the inexplicable decision to try to throw a long bomb on 4th and 2.

Tomlin and the Squealers earned that loss by making a bad decision at the end.

That suits me just fine.

I'm sure the defense finally felt vindicated that the offense actually helped them win a game.

This does negatively affect our draft position, but sometimes it just feels good to get a win.

Zappe has at least earned himself the right to start the rest of the games this season.

The offense is like night and day from Zappe to Jones.

Big thumbs up to Zappe today!

As for next year who knows. I still feel like neither Zappe or Jones are the 'franchise QB' that we're looking for. Zappe's 2nd half performance wasn't great.

Kraft has some big decisions to make in the offseason. We simply cannot screw up the golden opportunity of this upcoming draft and free agency period!

If nothing else Zappe has earned a roster spot and a QB battle next season

I don't care about the draft. We traded down and out of the first round so many times that it is hard to put too much faith in it. Mac wasn't the safe pick he was supposed to be and who knows about our next shiny qbs. I prefer to enjoy the wins here and now.

Even if we had lost, it is a joy to not watch incompetent offense. We need to be able to run even when the defense knows though. I'm curious to see how our runs would go if we benched Andrews in these obvious situations.

Jc Jackson and special teams are the only reason this game was even close. We commit to too many specialists for block punts etc to ever happen.

Literally ANYONE would have been better than Mac Jones. He was literally the worst quarterback in the league. This isn’t hard.
I don’t know, Punky might still have him beat there.

I'm mad you think a small sample size of Zappe is proof that if we had just started him week 1 we're in playoff contention. That pisses me right the **** off. I'm so mad I could punch Andy in his face
Mac Jones was ****ing terrible. A leap in QB play elevates us to a mid-team chasing a playoff spot with all the other mid-teams.
Like I said, cope and seethe. Go play with your Mac Jones action figures. Do whatever you want to do. Maybe Rob will come over.

Zap's second half stats and ultra-conservative play-calling were the reason the game was this close.

Zappe isn't that leap. Zappe is a hiccup better

Here we go!
Wouldn't that be wicked awesome, huh?

Do that THEN win 3 road games against..say @Kansas City, @Baltimore, and again @Miami to play the Niners or Cowboys or Eagles in frickin' Vegas???

The fabric of the universe would be torn!!

You want to punch someone in the face because they don't share your opinion? Id look into that.
