Zappe gets overconfident and then tries to be a gunslinger. Does not have the experience or judgement to know when to throw it away.

I think Zappe was looking at Brown and thought Brown was going to cut towards the sideline but instead he drifted upfield at the same time Zappe threw it.
Zappe reminding me a little of beginnings of the Brady days. Not electric but reading the field very well and making good decisions. Hitting the open man. A couple "wow" throws a game. Gets better each week.
