Seems he would fit in real well with our offense.

Regardless whether or not Ferguson has enough developmental potential to make the Pats active roster at some unknown point in the future, I'm pretty sure that he was signed specifically to play the role of D. Lewis on the scout team for the #1s on the Pats defense to practice against.

... 2016 UDFA signed by the Colts out of Illinois.
Active for 16 games (133 O-snaps/183 ST) in 2016
... 15 rushes for 20yds total (long of 11) .. 20/26, 136yds receiving .. 4KR/80yds .. 1 FMB.

2017 ...
- Waived to IR (rib injury) by the Colts in cutdowns; released with settlement 9/8/17.
- Re-signed to Colts PS 10/17/17
- Promoted to Colts AR 10/20
Active for 10 games (30 O-snaps/91 ST)
... 1 rush/5 yds .. 3/4, 16yds receiving .. 5KR/86yds

2018 ...

This has to be the reason, because what we really need at RB he does not provide.

I dont know none of our runningbacks aside from White have been iron men and if White goes down we are screwed.
You maybe very right hes to emulate Lewis and thats the extent of our interest in him.
I propose he could develop into a decent back for us who could fill in for Michel or White.
I like the move.
