Apparently, the NYFL thinks that Dallas and/or Detroit = thanksgiving.

Tradition - NFL tradition. The Lions started the T-Day game in 1934, and in 1966 The (then) Texans joined them. Some things shouldn't be changed.

If it was up to me - Drop Sunday and Thursday night football. One MNF game. Drop the third T-Day game.

So we could be playing O'Brien coached Texans, McDaniels coached Colts, and Patricia coached Lions. The press will have a field day with the drama. Argh..........

Last time it was a huge story that McDaniels and BB didn't shake hands after Broncos beat us when McDaniels became HC and everyone was calling BB a poor sport. It was also Broncos 6th consecutive win on a 6-0 start to the season with Josh as HC. Turned out Josh and BB had agreed not to shake hands after the game due to the Mangini drama.

I am not looking forward to these distractions.

Atleast we won't be facing the Brian Flores' coached Cardinals.

please explain why the Pats arent on TG every year? new england = thanksgiving
Not this again.
I would think by now everyone knows why Dallas and Detroit play every year.

Besides, I'm sure Bill would rather not play on Thursday anymore than they have to.
