Binnington's stickhandling really is exceptional. DiPietro, Osgood, Nabokov, Hextall, and Turco were like that but pretty unique skill.

Him or Kevin Harlan (though more for basketball). Ian Eagle is an extremely good basketball play-by-play guy as well and underrated as a football guy because he has to deal with Fouts. And Jack Edwards is probably up there, frankly. I'm not sure there are any football guys, Nantz is probably close.

Emrick stands out as really adding a lot of excitement and being genuine about it, along with being highly knowledgeable. All the truly great NFL football announcers were in the 1960s and '70s, long gone.
